Once, I put a curse on a beastly and arrogant high school boy. That one turned out all right. Others didn’t. I go to a new school now - one where no one knows that I should have graduated long ago. I’m not still here because I’m stupid; I just don’t age. You see, I’m immortal. And I pretty much know everything after hundreds of years - except for when to take my powers and butt out. Now a girl named Emma needs me. I probably shouldn’t get involved, but her gorgeous stepsister is conniving to the core.

The residents of Manhattan’s exclusive Upper East Side disclosed it all, things they would never share with their friends or their spouses: secret bank accounts, steamy affairs, tidbits of juicy gossip. Narrator was great & easy to listen to
Story was anti climactic and could have gone deeper into each character. As far as the twins, the dynamic & details of their relationship was left with a lot of questions.

Hated it
I know I didn’t just waste my credits on this garbage. I miss the old VC Andrews novels that were actually worth reading.

The cadence
It’s my first audible, so nothing to compare it with, sounded good though and easy to listen to as well

not as good as I hoped
This story was not well thought out. Too many plot holes and unanswered questions. Underwhelming.

Pleasantly surprised.
I saw a lot of poor reviews for this book, but I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind hearing more from this character.
