Publisher's Summary

Indy will do anything to prevent his mobster ex from finding him. Their last encounter left Indy recovering for months in the hospital, and, ever since, he's become an expert at hiding in plain sight.

Determined to stay under the radar, he takes on a new identity and moves from place to place. His life has no room for friendships, let alone love, so he keeps his heart firmly closed. After all, he has nothing to offer but a damaged body and a broken soul. Plus, he's so done with men. Until he meets the man who breaks through all his defenses.

Former Army Medic Noah came back damaged from his last tour in more than one way. Between supporting his best friend-with-benefits Josh who's struggling with PTSD, dealing with his own issues, and the stress of his job as a physician assistant, rebuilding his life seems impossible. There's little time for what Noah needs, let alone for what he wants. When he meets Indy, Noah discovers what he wants more than anything: for Indy to stay. But how will a relationship with Indy work when Noah needs Josh as well?

Indy never expected the strong, confident Noah to be as damaged and broken as himself. But what will happen if he starts letting Noah in? Indy knows he should run to protect Noah and Josh. Noah needs Indy to stay more than anything. But will what little he has to offer be enough to make Indy trust him and stay?

No Filter is a steamy M/M romance featuring an open relationship (no cheating!) that ends with a HFN but with the promise of a HEA. It's the first audiobook in the No Shame Series, and is not a stand-alone novel. It contains hot sex, a hint of a menage, lots of talk about hot sex, flashbacks of said hot sex, and...Oh well, you get the idea. Also: trigger warning for mentions of sexual abuse.

Loved it.

I already knew I loved the story from reading the kindle edition, and I loved hearing the characters come to life. Kenneth Obi does an excellent job of conveying emotions and differentiating between voices for the characters.

Amazing series

This series is the best. And even better on audio. Kenneth Obi has done an amazing job making these people come life.
If you are only listening to one book this year, this is the one you need.
Love this series.

5 stars

This is one of my all-time favorite series! I love the complexity between all the relationships and friendships between all the couples. So I was really excited when I saw an audiobook would be released for it.

Listening to the story just brought a whole nee level to the story and characters. Kenneth Obi brings so much emotion and depth to Indy and Noah.

Book 3 is my favorite of the series, so whenever that gets released, I will be the first one to buy it!

Great story- sweet and spicy

Enjoyed the characters and getting to know each one. Great chemistry between Noah, Josh and Indy. Indy’s accent was irritating though and a bit distracting. Still loved the story.

Great Audio

I had read and enjoyed this book a few months ago & was keen to listen to the audio. Kenneth Obi did a fantastic job with the narration. I knew Indy had an accent but it was hard for me to hear it in my head whilst reading. As an Aussie I'm not overly familiar with the accents. The narration gives an authenticity I missed while reading.

I was drawn in immediately, liking Indy & wanting to know his story. He selflessness in the way he helped Josh, a stranger to him really showed his character right from the start. I loved the dynamic between Noah & Josh. I enjoyed seeing how Indy fit in their already established non relationship and watching his story slowly unwind. I felt the attraction between them all. I could feel the greatness in these men, all a little hurt & broken in their own different ways. The relationship they develop seems complicated from the outside but you could sense how it was perfect for them.
I can't wait for book 2 in audio.
So glad I took a chance on this debut author. I look forward to following her future releases.

Poor writing barely saved by narrator

this was a book I could not get into, and at some point it just became a complete, non-filtered mess I was more annoyed at then anything else. As the book progressed I started to view it a a parody of mistakes and just, a really amaturistic approach to story telling. The ONLY thing I liked about this book was that the narration was pretty good, and it is it's only saving grace. He added emotion, accents and depth to an otherwise complete waist of my time.

This book was not only confusing, but it displayed twisted, unhealthy relationships in a romantic way, it did not clarify any of the convoluted relationships between the three men.
I HATED Noah, he is the most selfish, hypocritical character I have ever come across. Indy drops into their lives and nothing is cohesive, either josh and Noah are in a relationship, but wait, they are not! They are using each other, but in actuality Noah is a sort of sugar daddy for Josh that cooks, cleans and offer him his BODY when he "needs release". Then Indy is suddenly Noah's "love interest", but what about Josh? He doesn't care, he hooks up with Indy, Indy want's Noah- confused? so was I! And to make matter worst! Noah is "not gay", maybe he is gay, but then he is again "not gay". The subject of trauma after rape is dealt with poorly and unrealistically.
I did not believe any of the choices these characters made or what happened.

And to tell you the truth, I pulled through the book barely, and had I read the ebook I would have given up a long time ago. It was an exhausting book with a terrible plot-line that kept twisting into itself without meaning or point. It seems like the author did not filter anything and just poured all her ideas into the book without care. I applaud the Narrator for making it through recording this book.

Nice story with a HFN ending

This is the first time I have listened audio prior to reading the book, I really enjoyed it and followed the story easily.

Kenneth did a really good job of choosing the voices for the characters, including the two voices for indi. It was clear who was speaking so easy to follow,

When I read the blurb for this story I was confused as to whether it was a mm or mmm, the relationship between indi, josh and Noah is amazing and I am so happy about how it ended for now... and off to read book 2 as I need to know what happens next.

This was a really nice story although had some hard to hear elements, possible trigger for sexual abuse, glad the author didn’t go into detail. The sex scenes were good and relevant. Kenneth voice kept me engaged in the story and I really enjoyed it.

Will definitely get the next book in audio.
