Story
Twenty years ago, I made a promise. If anything ever happened to Marc - my best friend - I'd step up and take care of his wife and baby son. I never thought I'd have to honor it. Never even dreamed that something would happen to him. He was an unyielding presence in my life. Always solid. Always there. And now he's dead. Murdered in cold blood. His wife, Lindy, is hanging in there. But his son, Mason, isn't coping very well at all. It's gotten so bad that he may have to postpone his final semester of university.

Story
They say love is like an explosion. But explosions haven't been so kind to Michael Wagner. Michael's given his life in service to the military. He had a plan - structure, discipline, focus. Thirty years in the Army before retirement. It only took one IED blast to change all of that, stealing his hearing and altering the course of his life forever. Joining some small-town support group? It's not going to change that. It's not going to give him back anything that he's lost...but maybe it's worth a shot, anyway.

I don't know why nobody ever wanted me. For real, I mean. My parents died when I was eight, and I spent the next 10 years hopping between foster homes. Let's just say, they barely did me any favors. I have got nothing. No job, no place to live and I have no one to be with. Except...well...I do have DNA test results from a genealogy website. With close family matches. It’s probably a stupid idea. I've been in love with my best friend since forever. Okay, fine. Like, kindergarten. It started out platonic, obviously, but then became.... Nope. Still platonic. The problem is that Parker Ellis has been straight since forever. And that makes it difficult to convince him that the two of us are meant to be together. And now, there's no point. All is lost. He's gone and gotten engaged to his high-school sweetheart - which means I have to grin and bear it, while pretending to be the happy, supportive best man, while he prepares to commit his life to a woman.

The job at Sunday Orchard was supposed to be temporary. A chance to gain some work experience, to have some fun. I had not expected to be welcomed into a family of gorgeous and weirdly efficient lumberjack-types, or to find purpose in the tiny Vermont town whose claim to fame seemed to be apple-based products and copious amounts of charm. And I most definitely hadn’t expected to fall for Knox Sunday, my grumpy, burly, fifteen-years-older, reluctant roommate, with his infuriating lectures, his hot-as-fire body, his superior attitude - I’ve never been one to put down roots.

So many brothers
This is a collection of 7 books. From friends-to-lovers, establishing a thrope, age gap, married couple taking on a third, and enemies-to-lovers tropes all while dealing with a small town scandal that creates an unusual bond between all these men. The stories were engaging and all had their unique views. I enjoyed learning about all the brothers, the varying backgrounds some horrible to others more pleasant. Yet they all need and find their individual HEAs. New to me authors that I will definitely spend more time with. An the narration side of things, this is my first Gage McKenna experience. Having to invest so much time with such a large collection he did not disappoint. His voice was easy to listen to and provided the right mix for different characters (a real importance to me). When getting accustom to new narrators sometimes it takes time to listen to their voices. Not with Gage, I feel right in and was welcome by his voice. Look forward to more stories narrated by him.

Good contemporary series
Book 1: Finding His Way Home – 4 stars
We have Joshua who has just graduated college and decides to travel from Kentucky to North Carolina to find his birth parents. He had taken an DNA test & it points him to the small town of Bennett Wood. Jay is a long-haul trucker who left Bennett Wood in his rearview long ago. He is finally back in town to get his mother’s home ready to sell as she had died a couple of years previously. Not sure what the scoop was about that, he could have rented it out instead of it staying empty. Joshua & Jay meet in a diner and hit it off instantly and end up sleeping together. Joshua sneaks out the next morning and goes on his way. Jay is toying with the idea of giving up his life on the road and settling down in one place. Both thinks the other is out for a one-night stand & won’t be in town all that long. A little communication goes a long way guys! Joshua & Jay come to an agreement that Joshua is going to help fix up the house and Jay is going to introduce Joshua to the people whom the DNA test pointed him to. What Joshua gets is being told that he was wrong & to get out. Joshua then runs into (I don’t remember his name) someone who is a triplet & it turns out that they are his brothers. At this point, I knew exactly what happened. Joshua meets the triplets and finds out that there is family out there that wants him. Joshua and Jay finally have a discussion and love concurs all 😊 My guess is that how they all are brothers is going to play out in the subsequent books.
Book 2: Finding His Guys – 3 stars
So poor Luck’s family is in the middle of the scandal that we learn about in the 1st book. His father used his sperm to father a bunch of kids. Luke & his mother are feeling the brunt of the town’s distaste and are being actively shunned. This is extremely hard on Luke as everyone he has be friendly with want nothing to do with him, even his 5th grade teacher turns her back. Not sure why the family gets put into the same pot as the wrongdoer. Anyway, Nathaniel is upset that his family is going to be getting rid of the family farm. His dream is to open a sanctuary & he is studying woodpeckers that he sees on the farm. I love Woodpeckers, they are so pretty. Eli comes from the poor side of town & is struggling to make ends meet to continue with college. I enjoyed the fact that any miscommunication was discussed as adults and it wasn’t written as a way to bring unnecessary drama for drama’s sake. I am disappointed that there really wasn’t any interaction between Luke & his brothers. Hopefully that will change as the stories progress.
Book 3: Finding His Second Chance – 4 stars
Alex is one of the triplets that we met in the first book. Griffin was Alex's best friend when they were teenagers. Griffin’s parents kicked him out when he came out to them & he leaves town. Alex did not go with him & Griffin didn't forgive him. When Griffin comes back to twon to open a gallery, he submits his application, which Alex's approves, but the final approval comes from Griffin's uncle who denies it because Griffin's entire family is homophobic. When Alex goes to discuss this with Griffin, they decide to talk to each other and things come to light about what happened all those years ago. I love a good second chance read.
Book 4: Finding His Family - 4 stars
This time around we have Sean, another triplet, who was involved in a serious accident which leaves him with a case of PTSD as well as strong case of anxiety & panic attacks. Hawk is raising his daughter on his own after his husband lives him. I hated him. Sean & Hawk meet on-line & find out that they both have a love a nature. Ellie was a sweetheart. Sometimes kids don't work well in a story, but it worked here.
Book 5: Finding His Revenge - 1 stars
I did not like this one & actually skimmed though it. I didn't like Kit. Also, getting back to Luke, he still won't have anything to do with Joshua but he actually shakes Kit's hand. Why? Joshua didn't do anything to him.
Book 6: Finding His Trio - 4 stars
This triad was so much better than Luke's, maybe because I don't really like Luke. Victor is the last triplet and he has it bad for Rabbie & his husband Grant. This is not the first time they attempted to bring a 3rd into their relationship and Rabbie isn't sure if he wants to try again. Grant is patient, but when they think they are going to lose Victor, they agree to try and it works.
Book 7: Finding His Silver Fox - 1 star
Unfortunately I ended up skimming this one as well as I couldn't stand Cade

The Benson Brothers find Love!
This was a long one, but definitely worth it!
I liked listening to all the Benson Brothers fall in love and find 'the one'.
I thought this was going to be light and fluffy, but it had a quite and depth to it
The characters were likeable and well fleshed out.
Each book was interesting and engaging.
Gage McKenna did a fairly good job on the audio!

7 book series with great narration
This is a 7 book series that follows a group of be others in a town called Bennet Wood. The storylines have great character development and I loved to see background characters get their own stories throughout each book. The stories cover a lot of favorite romance tropes of mine, including age gap romance, polyamory, friends to lovers, and enemies to lovers. The stories are done tastefully and the narration for each character was easy to follow. Loved the series!

Benson Brothers
Never reading Oliver or Kandi books before, I went in with a open mind and thoroughly enjoyed this bundle. While having the same, ah, father each brother had his own unique journey. I became Joshua's biggest cheerleader, because his being all alone tugged at my heartstrings from the beginning. I routed for Luke so desperate to has something away from the life he had come from. What wonderful accepting men the triplets were raised to be. Opening their lives and hearts to make them all a part of a special family.
The narrator was perfect bringing each voice to life, as well as adding a feel of the small town of Bennetwood.

Bennet Woods, our home
This is a very enjoyable series set in a small town and focused on the relationship between Benson brothers and their lovers. I’ll be honest. I thought these are just going to be short and sweet stories but I didn’t expect the small town of Bennet Woods would be full of mysteries, deceit and scary things waiting in the dark. It was very interesting and added an another layer of enjoyment to the story. I don’t think I would be able to listen over 30 hours of pure love stories so it was really good to get exciting and thrilling mystery aspect in the story. The narrator was a new-to-me narrator but he did a good job with the performance. I mean for 30 hours of enjoyable stories for a credit, you really can’t beat the price. Recommended I’d you are looking for an enjoyable past-time listen.

Good read.
It was a little slow going with the first novel but I did get into it and I do believe McKenna did a good job bringing the characters alive. I thoroughly enjoyed listening.

7 half-brothers finding love - interwoven bundle.
Love love love the story of victors triad! (story 6).
All of the stories were interesting and stood out in its own right.
Spoilers *****
I felt that in the book of Kit and Patrick, when the court case occurred was skimmed over a little! That SOB needed a good kick and all lads involved needed compensation! oh well!
Otherwise it was brilliant.

Family made
I totally love a series bundle. All the stories are about finding family and finding love in various ways and forms mm and mmm by J.P. Oliver and Libda Kandi.
The narrator was new to me but was distinctive enough between chatacters and I enjoyed listening to Gage his voice.

A wonderful gift!
Really, hearing the wonderful narration of Mr McKenna of this bundle is a gift... Not just because the perfect execution, with a very enjoyable perfomance and voice acting that followed beautifully the emotions the author proposed in every book but also because every story is so emotional and intense that I couldn’t stop hearing them again and again even if I’d already known the ebooks almost by heart by now. These love stories have everything... romance and hot scenes, check... an interesting plot with some drama but with a happy ending that helped to settle my heart, check... some intrigue, musunderstandings and angst but balanced out with sweetness, romance and happiness, check again... This book check all the boxes I ask for a great reading, and the best part? It is one amazing book after another!! A gift just perfect for this season!! Loved it!

A great brothers series
I love families created by love not necessarily by blood, and this series was very enjoyable to listen to. I liked how the brothers support each other. I really liked that each man had a different path and they were all so interesting to learn about. It was a great way to spend hours listening. I really liked Gage McKenna’s narration and how he was able to make each voice different. Definitely a narrator I will be listening to again. I definitely recommend this series.

Great series, great narration, great value
This is the perfect series to grab for a long binge over the holidays. The narrator gives a great performance that brings all the characters to life (no mean feat when there are so many characters) and even if you binge listen, you won't be confused over who is who. The stories are all good but I think I am a bit partial to the first one, as it sets up the world with some secrets and scandals for us and has two really interesting main characters.

Great collection
J.P. Oliver and Linda Kandi made a super collection of stories that kept my attention and entertained. Gage KcKenna did a nice job with the narration.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Great collection
Great collection of books that follows brothers from the same family as they deal with a major scandal. The storylines are intriguing with interesting characters. There’s plenty of steamy moments but also sweet endearing moments too.
Gage McKenna does a great job with the narration, he covers all the characters well and makes them distinct.

7 stories for 1 credit
I really enjoyed this series, the triplets taking all the new family members in their stride, was wonderful to see. I wonder if the Doc realised how many of his sons are gay.
