good

Could have had a deeper story with more drama. Good narration.but no one calls dog and cat food "kibble". Who says that! Kindle could have had more of a part with Hutch. characters just not very deep

Predictable

This was a predictable story, with too much description. Difficult for me to listen to a man’s voice describing a woman’s sexual thoughts. A waste of time in my opinion.

Slow to get going

This is a simple love story. Very drawn out for the soon to be lovers.

OK

It took me a long time to get through this book. The writing was predictable. The narrator was very professional. He was like being read to by your college professor or your Dad...which seemed icky to me when the sex finally happened.
I think he did his best and probably does great with other stories but for me he was not a romance reader...although he did southern voices very well.
Maybe this was just a bad fit for me. I have listened to other LLM books and liked them but it has been awhile. For me this book seemed tedious.

Rinse and repeat

So just listened to the whole series and every book is the exact same. The names are differnt but the basic plot is identical with every book. Man says a few words, man and woman do not get along, they have sex, she acts like the word is coming to an end, they decide they love each other, book is over. I started a new series bt LLM and the same pattern in this series as well. Didnot finish the book.

Enjoyed story

Enjoyed the story. Ms Miller left the long sex scenes until the last few chapters which was nice since they are almost identical in each off her books

great

If you could sum up Big Sky Country in three words, what would they be?

Narration by Jack Garrett was one of the best I have heard and the story line by Linda Lael Miller was excellent. I did not want to turn it off. I will look for more books by her and for books jack garrett has narrated.

What about Jack Garrett’s performance did you like?

He did not sound as if he was reading the book his voice kept you into the story line. You felt like the old days of radio shows where you thought you were at the movies.
