From the creator of the award winning Fargo and Legion TV series.

The rich are different. But fate is blind. A private jet plunges into the sea. The only survivors are down-on his luck artist Scott Burroughs and JJ Bateman, the four-year-old son of a super-rich TV executive. For saving the boy, Scott is suddenly a hero. And then, as the official investigation is rapidly overtaken by a media frenzy, it seems he may also be a villain. Why was he on the plane in the first place, and why did it crash?

Best book I have listened to, if not ever, then a very long time๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Really enjoyed this booked and a bit of a cliche, but “couldn’t stop listening until I had finished”.
Narrated very well, and a great story. Have already recommended to my friends๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

Brilliant

So well written and beautifully narrated. I loved this book, particularly the way the story unfolded- the main story with a mystery and then an in depth look at each character; their motives, their flaws etc ..I didn't see the ending until very near the end( a refreshing change). Bravo!!!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Good story, narration distractingly bad

This narrator's female voice is absolutely horrible. He makes every woman sound like a weak, whiny, nag ... this is the first time that the narration has been bad enough to make me comment on it in a review. I will avoid this narrator at all costs, it ruins the book.

bizarre

If this book wasnโ€™t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

People who would enjoy this are those that read the last page of book because that is were the story starts.

So so

The story line is a bit thin - essentially a plane crashes and this is the pre story nearly all of which is irrelevant to the crash it’s self. The narration really got in the way for me. It felt as if he was reading the instructions for making a flat packed furniture and was a bit annoyed with my efforts. A good narration may have made this but sadly 2 stars at best

Most irritating narrator ever

This is the first audiobook I couldn’t finish because the narrator is just so irritating. His voice goes up at the end of every single sentence. Avoid this narrator at all costs.

A clever story well told

I bought this thanks to the Daily Deal and because I like listening to Jeff Harding so I was delighted to find that I really enjoyed this story which takes the view of each person in the scenario
