Publisher's summary

“There's been a string of murders round town recently. A lot of these coloreds being strung up and murdered. Not very pleasant stuff.”

Seagle smiled. He had an idea where this conversation was going to be headed. “Not very pleasant for who? For you, or for the negroes?”

Wertham raised an eyebrow at Seagle. “Whatever do you mean?”"

Layin' down the Law!

John Law expertly crafts a compelling tale that is neatly compressed into just under an hour. Its taught and tense, and heavy on action and character. This is well worth a listen and is an easy and enjoyable way to pass an hour.

The narration is nice.

Short Western Tale, Outstanding Narration!

This is a short hour-long western that kept my attention. The story is good but the narration was excellent! Markiewitz chose the perfect voices for each character and really kept the story moving along. His voice acting was great in some of the tense moments. This is an easy book to finish in one sitting and the narration will keep you engaged to the end. This audiobook was provided free of charge for an honest review

Excellent narration and post- Civil War story

This post - Civil War story kept me absorbed as the excellent narration by Jason Markiewitz brought each character to life and made every event so real, I could see the anguished faces of the soldiers and feel the frustration of Jacob, a Confederate soldier, whose property was seized by the Union army. You will want to keep reading to the end, once you begin this expertly-narrated story!!

Excellent narration.

Short but decent western. The narration is excellent! Jason Markiewitz does a great job with different voices that fit really well in the western setting.
