Would you listen to Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center again? Why?

I felt like i was with brie through the whole book. I also learned so much about myself through her eyes in the training program. The author pulled me in and the narrator made it feel like reality for me. If you are looking for a good submissive book then this is a must listen.

I have many books in my library but none have made me feel like i was learning as this one did so i can not compare to any.

What about Pippa Jayne’s performance did you like?

She was amazing and left you feeling like each character was truly another person vs hearing some narrators that do not connect to every character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not gonna spoil it for anyone, you must listen and find out for yourself.

I love erotica books, many are the same so when you come across one that makes you think and feel, it is amazing. The writing and the narrator together made a great combination.

Wow!!

I read this book years ago and loved it then; but this performance just took it further. I can't ever remember enjoying a audible book more then reading the actual book myself until this book. I will definitely be listening to this many times in the future, it is that good.

Every Subs Story

As a submissive myself, this book truly highlights the struggle and pleasure every true submissive has lived. Well written, at times brought tears of remembered emotions.

WOW! WHAT A CONCEPT!

This review is my humble opinion of this book. I don't write blow by blow (LOL) accounts of everything that happens, as there are plenty of others who do that. I just tell you if I liked it or not.

I think that this book was great! I fell in love with the antics of Brie, Lea and Mary in the first chapter! What fun and sometimes, laugh out loud, funny! And then we have Sir, Tono, and Marquis, (Master Cohn didn't made my list became Mr. Universe-type muscles aren't for me). GULP!! Anyway, I was SOOOO ENTERTAINED!! I enjoyed following the girls through their training. A couple of phrases stood out for me. There was Brie and her, "I Googled it Sir", and Tono's "Breathe with me", (twin bought me the Breathe with me shirt! Yippieee)!

Pippa Jayne did an awesome job of narrating, and I'll be looking for more of her work. I can't wait to read the next omnibus. I've got it downloaded and just need to hit play!! Re-read #5.

The book is amazingly erotic and the narrator is awesome. The last 25 mins I thought I was gonna die. Definitely getting the next volume.

Holy Hotness don't miss this book

Oh My Goodness! I’m still reeling from this series of stories. Red Phoenix brings us an ordinary girl in Brie, college graduate without any real prospects in her field. She’s curious and open minded despite her naiveté, and when she comes face to face with a Dom and his beautifully pulled together and sexy Submissive as they stop in to purchase cigarettes. I loved the fact that Brie was honest enough with herself to be both intrigued and a tiny bit jealous of the confidence and sexuality that oozed from the couple, and her curiosity leading her into a world that she didn’t know anything about is one that will open many eyes.

The Submissive Training Center runs a 6 week course that will give the successful participants all the tools that they need to become a ‘good submissive’, and enable them the ability to choose a Dominant if they so choose at the end of the course. Unlike most of the BDSM stories that I have read, Phoenix doesn’t shy away from the explanations and descriptions of expectations, and the clear delineation of the trust and respect that is required. And, for the uninitiated, Brie’s attitude and openness to the various steps and scenes encountered can open whole new lines of fantasy or exploration, or even help to provide a small level of understanding about the draw of this lifestyle.

Brie makes two new friends in the course: Lea and Mary, and as the three proceed through the course, there is plenty of interaction, laugh out loud conversations and even some personal histories that help inform their characters, and show them all in a light that is far different from the simple submissive label. And Phoenix doesn’t stop with the girls: she introduces us to real people that could be anyone you meet: young, old, angry, mean, sweet, timid, attractive and not so – their one constant and connection is the lifestyle.

Narration is provided by Pippa Jayne was fantastic, she manages to use her voice and skill to great effect, adopting a certain tone and approach for Brie and a slightly different tone for the other characters. A small sibilance in her enunciation of the letter S is particularly emphasized with most of Brie’s voice which starts to dissipate over the length of these 9 stories, much as Brie’s confidence and growth increases with each book and experience. Whether planned or purely an unconscious approach to the character, it was a lovely touch that gave a vocal sense of growth, enhanced by the delivery of word and description as written.

This is, above all, a story about BDSM and in particular the growth and power that a good submissive can and does wield within the relationship. The scenes are set as both highly sexually charged and instructional moments – not only for Brie, but for the reader. And they are hot Hot HOT.
I have only one complaint which is, none of the Doms used a condom during any sexual encounters. I know this book is fiction but I think using a condom when have sexual encounters with numerous partners is important.
Perhaps even more steam inducing because we are following Brie’s growth and learning curve in a way that is almost like being there. Curious about the lifestyle, or just wanting a read that will make you think and act – this is the title for you.
