WOW 😲🤩🤔AMAZINGLY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER DARK ROMANCE

This was a really enjoyable book. It is well narrated and even better written. The story is just differnt. One complaint is there is a CLIFFHANGER 😲😲😲.....but wait I dint have to wait two years for book two!!!! LOVED EVERY MINUTE worth Five Credits

I Cannot Wait for the Next Book

This audiobook is so sultry. The characters are hot and sexy and there is a mysterious secret that the family has yet to reveal. The narrators are excellent. I am glad I chose the audio version. I am looking forward to listening to the remaining two books.

narrator is too old

if I wanted Broadway, I would have bought tickets. moreover, if she is in her 20s--this lady sounds like she is in her 40s. nope.

I’m not sure what to think.

Okay, I wanna like this. I really do but I am not sure if it held my attention enough to download the second book in the series. Hunger Games with a twist.

Being from Mississippi (& Louisiana/Alabama) I want to be okay with the accents and I sorta am in some sick way. We really don’t talk like that but then it’s the best I have heard from Stephen Dexter! Robyn Verne is new to me but I liked her a lot.

Maybe I will visit the next book at a later date.

WoW

To be honest, I expected to struggle with this series because of the dark nature. However, I found myself captivated. I couldn't stop listening to all three books because I was so invested in the main characters. I found myself on the edge of my seat, hoping for their safety and victory. The narrator's did an amazing job painting the picture and emotions.

Good Book But Violent

What an interesting story of power, privilege and deception. Is everyone who and what they appear to be or are they hiding behind a mask? Counsellor is a well written, dark story, set in modern day in the south. Families from the privilege set play a game every 10 years. This year the Vinemonts are to play. There is debauchery, twists and turns and Counsellor certainly sets the stage for the rest of the series.

My only complaint is the short length of the book I felt the author was really out make her money by the cliff hanger ending and the trilogy. If you like this type of book there are better value choices out there. Try Red Phoenix Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center (Volume 1) also a trilogy each book has and hours hours of listening pleasure or Sawyer Bennett Uncivilized.

I will continue with the series because I am hooked.

Robyn Verne and Stephen Dexter were outstanding with the delivery of the story.

Dark but good

I'm down with dark romances and if your into them then you should listen to this one. The story is good, it's not just sex. I wouldn't be into this in real life, but I sure do like hearing about it lol. The narration was OK. Stephen did a better job, but I wasn't crazy about these two. Perhaps by book two I will change my mind.

I have to say this book really sounds like the southern version of the Indebted series by Pepper Winters. It's a little different, but it does make we wonder if she got her inspiration from Pepper. If you like these types of dark romance books I would highly recommend Pepper Winters.

Something a little hot and southern

I love this story line and oh rhe narration is wonderful. I am a new fan and can't wait for more.

Another ride by Celia Aaron...just like the Church series

I was hooked on the Church series which is very dark and not for the mainstream. This was another series I enjoyed and going into book 2...the female narrator tried too hard with the southern accent when she does the Sinclair’s voice...if you love the Church series , you will love this one too!
