Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever....
This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS, and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it's not true love....
There are many rules a priest can't break. A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God....
It was carnal, it was sensual, and it was erotic. That's it. That's all it was supposed to be. A trip into the dark. A peek into the forbidden. I just didn't expect to like them....
I met Bianca in an elevator. She was on her way to interview me when we got stuck. The beautiful raven-haired reporter assumed I was a delivery guy....
Wanting the perfect man doesn't make me crazy. I just know what I like. A powerful billionaire in a suit wasn't even my first choice. McAllister Stonewall was never on my radar....
Madeline Stone is determined to heal from her tragic past, one difficult step at a time...and she doesn’t need any distractions. Then she meets a mysterious and captivating stranger - and over a glass of outrageously expensive wine, her world turns upside down. Try as she might to banish the wealthy business mogul from her thoughts, Madeline can’t fight Alex’s staggering appeal or his enticing offer of intimate discovery.
Alex doesn’t date - at least, not in the traditional sense. Still, he wants Madeline...and his sexual intensity provides her with a much-needed escape. They embark on a tumultuous erotic affair, one that takes them to the pinnacle of obsession and desire. But underneath each explosive encounter lie dangerous secrets waiting to consume them both.
This was very good. A similar concept to 50 shades, even some of the same plot points, like rich guy, humble girl; he tries to run her off because he is a dom and she is innocent; she receives an expensive package; she even drives a beat up car. Very Very similar to 50 shades, but this has a touch bit more erotica than 50. The story is not exactly the same, but similar... so it is different. I enjoy it. It was a straight through listen as well. If skip something, you will miss out on something important. Close to a 5, but not quite.. Still lacking that something. I don't know what... but something.
Worth the credit. Not a buy, but worth the credit.
Narration was good.

This one pushed all my buttons. Maddie is tormented and trying to deal with demons of her past. As she is checking things off her bucket list she runs into Alex. Alex is every woman’s dream. He’s wealthy and sexy. As you can guess he has demons of his own.
This does remind me somewhat of Shades of Grey. Some differences but it does revolve around the BDSM lifestyle. The sexual chemistry between the characters is great. In my opinion it was a very good listen and totally worth my credit. Also I’m glad that this is a one book story so I don’t have to worry about waiting for another book or two to finish the story.

I think the book fell a bit flat for me. I don't really know what exactly it was missing but there was something. I could not get into how Maddy and Alex meet. It just did not click. Then her bucket list did not make sense until later in the book when it was explained. Overall I just think the book fell flat.

I wanted to love this book, I really did, but the reasoning behind not being open and honest with each other was so weak, it brought the whole story down, in my opinion. In both cases it was something that a basic Google search could have uncovered.

I was so excited to be listening to this book, the beginning and middle were really great! A naturally submissive sub who doesn't know what a sub is is found by a dominant. He is of rich and powerful, and he has a dungeon, there was even a contract, very 50 shades but harder, more in line with actual sub/Dom situations instead of what 50 was. But then it kind of fell apart.
The book turned away from the in depth learning and turned into a romance novel within a BDSM lifestyle...but that actually detracted from the speed and tempo of the book. If you are looking for some hot scenes, and looking to explore the Dom sub mindset then this book was okay, but get it on sale. For me it was like two different books and it switched 75% through it so overall it left me wanting...I either wanted the Dom sub book to finish or I wanted the romance to finish and I just felt neither actually happened.

I started this book in the morning before I started getting ready for work. Well, I didn't make it to work as I could not put this book down. Recommendation: Start it when you get home from work so you don't get in trouble. Loved it!
