Publisher's Summary

[Contains explicit content] Hackers aren't solitary loners. They're organised, temporary teams who come together for a purpose — to take down a multinational or expose security weakness.

Geoff White, Channel 4 News's former Technology Reporter speaks to T-Flow, a member of the Lulzsec hacking group, who is now working for the good guys. Why do they do it and how can a team of strangers trust each other?

Evolution of the Hacker

This episode really talks about how hackers basically started doing what they do on the Dark Web as a method of communicating with one another. The hackers actually would coordinate with one another and would pay each other in escrow on other sites to do certain things. A lot of the hackers that they talked to it sounded like they were awaiting trial or hadn't been charged with a crime YET. They did, however, talk about what they would do on a daily basis in terms of attacking websites, cloning credits cards, etc.

Terrible sound quality ruins good podcast

For some reason half the interviews in this episode sound like they were recorded next to someone scratching their fingernails on a blackboard, which ruins an other interesting episode

Want to know about cyber crime and hackers? Start with this.

From an intro into how and why the Dark Web was created to what it’s for and how it works and who uses it to full explanations to understand Bitcoin and why it’s used.
An extremely informative program and it’s totally free.
One of the best audible content I’ve listened to.

Very informative.

I knew nothing about this subject, nor would I ever have found where to learn about it or what it actually is. Now I have an idea of what it is and who and why it exists.

quality

sound recordings variable which i dont mind but i disliked the noisy white noise and clicking background noises they used to cover up. it interrupted the voices and my concentration!
