Publisher's summary

An outcast maiden. A fae prince. A match bound by fate.

When outcast cobbler Rhianne braves the enchanted wood to find her fated love, absolutely everything that could go wrong does. The Matchweaver witch’s magical loom reveals Rhianne is fated for the most powerful fae prince in history. Sounds great to Rhianne, but the Matchweaver has big plans for the prince, and they don’t involve a lowly cobbler. The Matchweaver rages at the match, and her fit angers the ancients who crafted it. The ancients present a magical wand to Rhianne, setting the young woman on the path to raise a new Matchweaver.

The Matchweaver casts a deadly darkness across the kingdom, Rhianne has days to raise the new Matchweaver, or everyone in Lore will die.

Although horrified at the darkness unspooling across the land, Prince Werian is rather delighted at the turn of events. He was meant for adventure such as this and doesn’t mind dodging dangerous spells. What he isn’t prepared for is the sacrifice he’ll have to make to save the kingdom.

This quest isn’t what Rhianne and Werian believe it to be, and if they don’t figure out how to rescue themselves and Lore, it won’t only be a legendary love lost, the entire kingdom will disappear into the void.

Full of plot twists

The performance was good. It helped to follow the story. There were lots of plot twists and unexpected scenarios. Sometimes I had to go back and listen again to get what happened. It was a true love story.

Good Twist

Having 2 narrators is a bad idea, the male narrator does an awful job at female voices, he also gave some of the elf males a French accent, there's no such thing as elves and I'm pretty sure that they weren't in France. I did not understand his way of things the story. I found it very distracting I did not like having the 2 narrators the woman was much better.

Did not disappoint- really enjoyable book

Once again this author delivered a fun, interesting story with great, lovable characters. The characters are already introduced in the first book Enchanting The Elvin Mage and their story continues here. As I listened to the book 1 I remember thinking I would love to know the story of the left handed cobbler girl who is mistreated and shunned by society due to foolish superstitions. This is Rihanna’s story. I enjoyed every minute of the romance, mystery, challenges faced by the strong heroine and other characters. Other Characters from book 1 make appearances in this book and most of the loose strings from book 1 are tied up in book 2. I can’t wait to listen to book 3!
