Sacred and Secular

I LOVE the idea of this irreverent and profane group of siblings doing God's work and saving the world. They are just like any other dysfunctional family who love each other in their own way, except with superpowers. I also love that they have limitations in their Earthly bodies and that they are vulnerable to human emotions. My choice of favorite characters hovers between Gabriel and Lucifer. Who knew? lol...
No spoilers, but Lucifer always says or does something that is so profound, it teaches me or cement in me something I know to be true of the world in which we live.
The narrator is awesome as in the previous books. Sometimes I can't believe that one person is doing all those voices and personalities.
I can't wait to SINK MY TEETH into the next in the series, 'Cain.'
