Story

After their mother passes, three estranged siblings reunite to sort out her estate. Beth, the oldest, never left home. She stayed with her mom, caring for her until the very end. Nicole, the middle child, has been kept at arm’s length due to her ongoing battle with a serious drug addiction. Michael, the youngest, lives out of state and hasn’t been back to their small Wisconsin town since their father ran out on them seven years before. While going through their parent’s belongings, the siblings stumble upon a collection of home videos and decide to revisit those happier memories.

Story
My husband and I are fighting for our lives in hospital after a terrible car accident. But despite my pain, all I can think about is what our families will find behind our front door. The scarf that has been all over the news, belonging to a dead young woman with honey-coloured hair. I have to speak to the police before my husband can. I’m drifting in and out of consciousness, but when I hear my wife talking to the police, accusing me of the murder of an innocent woman, a cold fear grips me. I know I’ve got a temper.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Really interesting and well researched.
What made the experience of listening to El último Catón the most enjoyable?
The way it uses Dante's Divine Comedy (much better and before Dawn Brown) and real historic facts and location to create an amazing thriller.
What other book might you compare El último Catón to and why?
Dan Brown's DaVinci Code because of all the biblical and pagan symbolism and the really well though out plot.
What does Eva Andres bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She is a great reader. Still I think it would be a good Idea to use Spanish (from Spain) narrators for Spanish Authors. South American narrators are great, but in some book set in Spain, is very hard to believe the character is Spanish (as in the book) or Italian when the narrator speaks with a south american accent. I think a narrator like Alba Sola (The lost Angle, Javier Sierra) would be more appropriate. Having said that, I did enjoy Eva Andres reading the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, there is a lot of information, facts, locations....Its 17 hours long and needs to be read in stages.
Any additional comments?
The second part of this book is out. Please can we have an audible version?.

Excellent
It is a great story that I enjoyed. The adventures told by the author are wonderful, and the use of La Divina Comedia to overcome any difficulty was great.
