I can think of a million reasons why it could never work but can’t bring myself to care about a single one of them. Game on.

I loved this story!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story!!!

I feel like I have been eagerly awaiting this story since Baden’s book when Brienne and Drake met for the first time and the fireworks flew.

The book begins with Brienne going to see Drake once the first season after the plane crash is over, to try to convince him to join the Titans. From the second they see each other they each realize that there is a big attraction between them, but an owner and a player would cause some waves on the team and in the media, especially after the flash allegations made by Drakes ex wife during their divorce.

It takes very little time for Drake and Brienne to stop fighting their attraction, but having a secret relationship that is being hidden from 3 adorably rambunctious boys, teammates, coaches and the media proves to be a challenge that may be too tough to overcome.

I had the pleasure of listening to this story. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell did a fantastic job of narrating this story.

My favourite Titan

I think I must love each of the Pittsburg Titans each a little more with every book. Drake is no exception. He has zero f*!ks to give and takes what he wants but as simple as that sounds this book is far from a cut and dry hockey romance. A single Dad, hot as hell and he wants the owner of his hockey team. Such a steamy and emotionally charged listen. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell brought this book to life.

Drake and Brienne are a combustible inferno.

Drake and Brienne are an inferno determined to combust. From intense attraction to spicy banter and risque romance, Drake is a firework. Emotions run high, temptation runs deep and the battle is ongoing. Bennett gives two lonely hearts a battlefield to air their grievances on. What ensues is a captivating journey of stubborn hearts, shattered dreams and new beginnings. Brienne and Drake find their voices. With a little help from Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell, a hot commodity becomes an irresistible sizzler.

love it

Drake for the win, by far my favorite of the series. Drake has been through the ringer, given a second chance and he takes it. Brienne has has struggles herself, and is a workaholic. as the two become closer and Drake teaches Brienne how to live outside work a beautiful live story emerges.

Entertaining series!

Narrators do a great job! The male narrator has a nice gruff voice, and the female narrator has a nice tone too. Didn’t totally love her male voice, but overall, the listening experience was great!

I’ve been looking forward to getting Brienne’s story! She had to take over running the hockey team when her brother was one of the ones that died in the plane crash. In this book, she does what she can to get Drake as a goalie for her hockey team, but she didn’t give him the best impression of her when they first met. Luckily, Brienne is awesome and Drake starts to see that. Drake is a single father of 3 boys and has a drug addict ex-wife that likes to cause problems. Not my favorite scenarios to read about, but I did like Drake. There is a nice, steamy chemistry between Brienne and Drake as they try to be professional and deny the pull between them. Overall, I really enjoyed it!
