Story
Long before historians added "the Great" to his name, Alexander stated, "I would rather live a short life of glory than a long one of obscurity." He certainly lived up to this ambition, conquering most of the known world in just 13 years before his death at age 33. Though undefeated in his lifetime, Alexander died unsatisfied - he always wanted more. His ambitious personality comes as no surprise considering his upbringing: born to powerful parents, he studied under Aristotle and grew up believing himself a descendant of the Greek heroes Achilles and Heracles.

I'm shy. I make excuses - even lie - to avoid certain social situations. I've been called anti-social, awkward, and odd. The way I behave doesn't feel unnatural, but I'm constantly being told it is. I'm afraid of confrontation and disagreement. I lack confidence in my abilities, I'm reluctant to defend myself, and I get taken advantage of by others...a lot. And worst of all, I don't know why. That was me, before writing this book.

Publisher's summary
One very difficult thing to do with a digital camera is taking professional quality photos. This is because getting a clear image can be difficult, and adjusting the light levels may need to be done by hand. This is why it is an exceptionally good idea to use a digital photography guide. A digital photography guide can show a camera owner how to adjust light levels manually, how to reset the focus features on a camera, and how to add filters. It can even show a person how to do things like changing the aspect ratio of a camera by hand.

At last, the definitive audiobook about perhaps the best cabin crew dramedy ever filmed: View from the Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow. In Ayoade on Top, Richard Ayoade, perhaps one of the most 'insubstantial' people of our age, takes us on a journey from Peckham to Paris by way of Nevada and other places we don't care about. It's a journey deep within, in a way that's respectful and non-invasive; a journey for which we will all pay a heavy price, even if you've waited for the smaller paperback edition. Ayoade argues for the canonisation of this brutal masterpiece.

Story
From age 11, in 1974, until she left the show, in 1981, Melissa Anderson literally grew up before the viewers of Little House on the Prairie. Melissa, as Mary, is remembered by many as the blind sister - and she was the only actor in the series to be nominated for an Emmy. In The Way I See It, she takes listeners onto the set and inside the world of the iconic series created by Michael Landon, who, Melissa discovered, was not perfect, as much as he tried to be. In this memoir she also shares her memories of working with guest stars like Todd Bridges, Mariette Hartley, Sean Penn, Patricia Neal, and Johnny Cash.

Story
Center of the YOUniverse is an out-of-this-world spectacle starring Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski with music, laughter, and (probably) the salvation of humanity from its self-inflicted doom. Unaware of just how brightly the other one shines, Tituss and Jane will attempt the impossible: a double-booking. In a unique blend of song and storytelling, they’ll stop at nothing to upstage each other and steal the spotlight…until they realize the true purpose of being ridiculously attractive and having immeasureble talent: to unite and heal the world.

Basics of Digital Photography
Would you listen to Digital Photography Guide again? Why?
Yes, I will need to because there was a lot of information that I will need to hear again to get it to sink in.
Any additional comments?
This was a good book for the beginner in digital cameras. The reader did not go too fast and I was able to follow most of the technical advise given.

Couldn't listen - Narrator was terrible,,,
I couldn't get too far into the audiobook. The narrator's voice was simply horrible!!! Maybe I'll have to find the printed version of the book.

Horrible
Horrible, the narrator sounded like he was drunk. And it was read painfully slow. The content was all right but hard to follow.

content was good, narration horrible
this is one of the worst reviews I have ever given.
the performance had a wierd pacing to his voice, it sounded like a bad knock off of Cpt. Kirk. i found it extremely distracting. the content to the book was fine. the medical disclaimer at the begining was unnecessary and rather absurd.
I gained some info around photography but I don't feel it was worth the pain of listening to this.
I would recommend this in print not in audio format.
