Wow! How I Needed This!

What a beautiful surprise "Dark Prince" turned out to be! I was tired of looking for a paranormal romance that fit my reading preferences, and I saw the glowing reviews assigned to "Dark Prince," so I decided to take a chance. I prepared to be disappointed because the mention of a vampire school made me fear that I was entering teenage CW land or a YA experience, but thankfully I was sooo wrong. Ms. Hercules's novel has the perfect mix of plot and sizzle. Personally, I like a deeper plunge into characterization, but that didn't stop me from becoming invested in not only the hero and heroine, but the colorful supporting personalities as well. I was truly entertained by "Dark Prince," and as soon as the sequel comes out on Audible, I will add it to my library.
Another IMPORTANT reason to purchase "Dark Prince" is the deliciously talented Troy Duran. His rich, smooth, professional reading is perfection. I own over 500 Audible titles, and never have I enjoyed a male narrator as much as I did, Troy Duran. In addition to Duran's talents, listeners have the added bonus of the gifted Mindy Kennedy. Mindy's voice is perfectly paired with Duran's because she is expressive and entertaining without affectation. I do hope Michelle Hercules continues to use these amazing narrators in her future works.

I enjoyed every minute of this book. Cliffhanger at the end not so bad. Must read

Interesting series

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author but the premise sounded interesting so I gave it a chance. I quickly realized I enjoy the writing style as well at the characters that this book introduced, and I am looking forward to continuing the series.

A must in your library!!!

This is surprised me and feel in love with Luca, the narrators did a fantastic job had me wanting more. This almost felt like a vampire version of fifty shades of gray. Michelle is a fantastic writer and I wish her book didn't end. and a fan and will be searching for more.

Two Thumbs Up....Well Written

If you are looking for a book that is a little steamy with a surprisingly good story line, this book is for you. There were some chapters that I was like omg...get to the point!!! But other than that, the narrators were excellent and it kept my interest the whole book. A must read!!

Great storyline

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this book but I am very happy with how it all panned out. There was intrigue, very light bullying, enemies to lovers, PNR, second chance in a way…it really has it all. My mind keeps wanting to place this as a “school” romance but honestly all of these characters are centuries old. There is great build between different characters who will make up the rest of the series and I am looking forward to listening to them all. Troy and Mindy were fantastic! I had never listened to Mindy before but I really really enjoy her voice. So smooth and she does a great job with opposite gender. Troy is always a win for me and I love him in this vampire/ PNR role. Onto book 2!

Enjoyable!

I started this audiobook thinking “I’ll sample it and see if I like it” and then 8 hours later I had finished it. I don’t normally listen to an 8 hr audiobook in one go, but something about this story pulled me in. I’m looking forward to listening to the next one to see if it’s as good. Definitely recommend giving this one a shot!

Fantasy for all

Starting each new book I never know weather I will like where the story and charters take me. this didn't take long to have me hooked. so many questions and things to figure out. well written

This book was Everthing!

This book spoke to my fantasy side. That pull and push I get from reading and listening to Troy makes it so believable!!
