A good Mafia romance is my absolute kryptonite Ms Stone and, even though you are a new to me author, I jumped right in and took a chance excited to see what you’d written. And wow, I was very pleasantly surprised by this exciting and compelling Mafia romance because you managed to keep a good balance of action and romance. I also liked the fact that the romance wasn’t insta or rushed into.. and I’ll definitely be buying your stories in the future. Olivia was in the wrong place at the worst time and is suddenly in the witness protection program waiting to give her damming testimony that will convict a killer. But unfortunately for Olivia, he isn’t just a killer - he is a powerful crime Boss with informants everywhere. Andrusha, the sexy Russian rival Mafia Boss is in the right place at the right time.. because he saves Olivia.. and when Andrusha saves her again, he feels the urge to shelter her, keep her safe and to slay the rival Boss who wants to kill her. She’s made a dangerous enemy who also wants to be the only crime Boss left in the city - so Andrusha works tirelessly to eliminate the threat to himself and to Olivia. But in Ms Stone’s dual POV riveting rollercoaster story, things don’t always go as planned.

I loved Andrusha Sokolov, I loved the way he sheltered and protected Olivia, I loved that he didn’t take his eyes off his business or stop his quest to give Olivia a normal life, I loved the closeness and connection they had with each other, I loved how self-sacrificing he was and I loved the way he loved her too. I also loved the feel of the Mafia life - with bullets, bodyguards and bloodshed. I thought the narration was good too. WORTH A CREDIT? Yes, there was friction, fireworks and feels.. tension, troubles and tears.. a heartfelt friendship, a heartbreaking decision and a heartwarming HEA ending.. oh yeah, and a dreamy droolworthy delicious hero.

Great narrators, plot, spice & writing

This was my first Odette Stone book & I’m wishing I found her books sooner! The writing was so well done, the plot was *chefs kiss* & the spice was *chefs kiss*
Narrators were great as well! I loved the Russian accent from the male pov.
