Saiya Buchanan is a wraith, able to detach her shadow from her body and send it off to do her bidding. But, unlike most of her kin, Saiya doesn't deal in death. Instead, she trades secrets - and in the goblin besieged city of Stirling in Scotland, they're a highly prized commodity. It might just be, however, that the goblins have been hiding the greatest secret of them all. Publisher's summary
Roused from his drug-induced ritual London's eminent occultist, Aleister Crowley is dragged into a live crime scene by short-tempered Inspector, Ron Bryson. An awful thing is happening at Ravensblack Hall and Bryson believes it might take a madman to placate another madman. Bolstered by the promise of free stuff and perhaps an opportunity to rubbish the name of an arch rival Crowley reluctantly agrees to help. However, his almost legendary sense of self-preservation soon advises him that this was a dreadful mistake.
The first part of a four part series, Crowley: The Ravensblack Affair is a dark comedy of Lovecraftian horrors, eloquent profanity, spiteful wit, and devious intent.

Story
The job was simple: decapitate the zombie, get paid, get out. Warlock Marcus Shifter followed the plan perfectly. The corpse, however, did not. Now there's a body on the loose, accusations of illegal necromancy are flying, and the answers are waiting in the perilous alleys between the mortal and paranormal worlds. They're no place for someone who mostly gave up magic after a childhood accident. And given his tendency to shoot off his mouth and his Glock, Marcus is having a hell of a time digging up more than just bodies. When an apocalypse-minded megalomaniac threatens Marcus's family, things get personal.

For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison.
