Clint Eastwood hangs out with Gandalf
I'm not saying that this is a western, but man, this fantasy sure has some western overtones. And that is great, I love melding genres. Hollingsworth has proven to be a real favorite for me, and I think I can say that everything he has produced has been a real winner. Vito really rocks out doing the narration. He slaps in some special effects, accents, voices, etc. He's really good at his craft, and he accentuates Hollingworth's style. I mean Hollingsworth creates a whole new language and Vito doesn't even blink.
I really could rave on and on about the characters, the story, the magic, the mystery, but the truth is, all you need to know is that this is an amazing book, and that you should be reaading it right now. So, no spoilers or attempts to condense the plot. Just me telling you that Hollingsworth is an amazing writer, nd Vito nails the narration. This is like a buffett of all your favorite food served piping hot and perfectly cooked, so don't waste time considering whether or not you should get this, JUST DO IT. Then, get Hollingsworth other stuff and enjoy life to the fullest.

Lovely new world!
I really liked this book. there were many new characters/races that I've never read about before. I love fresh new takes on fantasy/sci-fi. Don't get me wrong, I love to read and reread my favorites like Jim Butcher, Anne McCaffrey, Kim Harrison, and Laurell K Hamilton. Usually I read urban fantasy, not western anything. But I really enjoyed the new (to me) setting of this book. Plenty of action, and some mystery. there's even a tiny bit of romance, very brief. I'd love to learn more back story on the characters, there's definitely more to be told about at least 2 of the characters. I hope the author, Aaron Hollingsworth gets another book published very soon! in the meantime, I'll be listening to the book again, see if I can find more clues about character histories, and enjoy this wild new world all over again!

OMG so good!
This book is so good every time I think the author has reached the limits of his imagination I read another book by him. I love that in this one the heroes don’t really act much like a rose… Except when they’re doing heroic stuff. Like with most of Aaron Hollingsworth books there is a bit of humor and a lot of entertainment. He is one of those authors I have at least seven books by him andThe library is growing. Finding him was like having Christmas in July. I was almost sad when finishing this book until I realized I have another book I want to read by him. The narrator was awesome I thought he did a great job another five star Book by Aaron Hollingsworth and a five star performance by the narrator. I recommend this book to anyone who likes action, sci-fi,… OK I really don’t know what genre this falls under I think Syfy if you like being entertained get this book!

An entertaining tale!
I just finished listening to this book, and have to say I fully enjoyed the story. Fans of podcasts like Critical Roll will enjoy. Someplace Else
Four Winds-One Storm is one of the most unique books that I have ever read. Imagine a fantasy in a western setting. Now add in that almost every character comes from one of the diverse humanoid races with their own special abilities and history. The world is vivid and the characters are extremely individualizes and relatable. That whole story leaves you with the impression that the author hated tropes so vehemently that he would avoid anything that was even related to one. The only down side is that it can be hard to follow the story at times due to the bizarre world. Overall it is a great book that is creative and fun and I will be reading the next one.
I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
Morality rating- Four Winds-One Storm contains sexuality, sex, some language, and lots of violence.

A New World
At first I struggled to keep up with all the characters . Eventually it all came together, which is not unusual when you start a new series. I found it humorous, with interesting on the side. A good mix of fantasy/sci-fi.
The narrator did an good job, also.
All and all, I found it to be a good audio listen. Long enough to want more, and not wonder "is that it"

Four Winds-One Storm
The characters are a well developed and the four main characters were all unique and able to use their own special talents to help the team as a whole. The author created great character from his own head, which he was able to developed without leaving the reader lost and confused nor with excessive exposition.

Excellent story, fabulous narration
I really loved the narrator Steve Vito, his range of voices is amazing and I know who is who without having to be told. So much easier to just listen when you know that. Also he does the female characters really naturally and well.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the story. I wasn't sure what to expect when I chose it but the blurb sounded interesting. It vastly exceeded my expectations. I loved all the twists and turns and finding out about the characters and watching them build their relationships. The different species (can I call them species?) are brilliant. The world building is great, enough to know where you are and what's going on but not overwhelming enough to pull you out of the story. Like any book it did take a little while to settle into the book and the characters, but once I had I was hooked. I'm hoping that there is another to follow this as it feels like there could be.

The Start of an epic Series. endless possibilities
Enter a new world,, "yeh heard that one before" but in this world, possibly eons to the future, or just in the mind of Author Aaron Hollingsworth. Written in a way we can focus ourselves in each of the characters, without being Tolken sculpted into his world but left to our own imaginings, I don't write but feel multiple direction the author could take each character. Being an avid Audio book fan, that makes for good times, as I already want to know where they go next. The narrator Steve Vito, did a great job lending voice to each, I am not always a fan of this type of narration, however it worked, I can hear as I write this, the characters echoing in my mind. Great book Jim

Magic, adventure & plenty of action.
I really wanted to like this more than I did unfortunately.
Whilst it was narrated well with some good character voices and the story has a lot of potential, I just found it a little magic heavy (ie. there’s a magic skill owned by someone to counter absolutely anything thrown their way!) and too much to take onboard in this alternative universe where everything needs overly explaining.
The overall plot is pretty cool and should appeal to all adventure fantasy fans, but I couldn’t figure out whether it was YA or not... it goes a long time almost like a children’s book using swear alternatives, then suddenly there’s some expletives thrown in... unfortunately it felt like a pick and mix selection where some off all the sweets had been chosen and thrown in rather than just a few of my favourites.
This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.

Mercenary Heroes With Extraordinary Powers.
This is a mix of scifi Western, Japanese Shogun and the Mafia. A group of mercenaries are pulled together, each with special fighting abilities and powers. They are up against a powerful master criminal. There are plot twists and turns with lots of action. The premise is good but could have benefitted from further editing to tighten up the plot and dialogue. A decent start to a series with good narration.
