Not Up To The Preston and Child Standards

I waited anxiously for the next Pendergast book. I have read all of the prior Pendergast and other books written by both authors.This one just does not have the same intensity, intrigue nor style of the prior books. I am still a fan and hope that the next book will make up for this one.
This is the first Preston and/or Child book that dragged on and on. I could not wait for the end-which was extremely disappointing.

And now I have to order the next one!

Just when I thought it was solved. Constance made a discovery and it ended inexplicably!

I love the Lincoln Child books, but I have to say that I also love the narrator's voice! It was so good, I actually finished it a lot sooner than expected. Can't wait to start on the next!

as usual you don't expect the twists and turns 5he the authors take you through. excellent reading as usual .

still looking for the end

a bit more unresolved story than i enjoy. interesting story up until the end but left a few too many open questions. i hope this doesn't become a trend.

What did you like best about Crimson Shore? What did you like least?

If you follow Pendergast then you know what to expect. The problem is, there are two major gaps in the logic which I won't expose the details of. The primary question issue is why Pendergast even gets involved in this case, based on a very minimal amount of information. Seems like they could have developed that more, and made a smoother transition in to the case.
