Great, but!

Great readings of the Holy scriptures. Very difficult to navigate. No book or chapter titles!

The Best Bible of the bunch.

Just the Word of God, narrated by everyone from Geordi of Staf Trek to Sully from PlayStation’s Uncharted franchise. The Bible rendered in English by the likes of Shakespeare and Tyndall. What’s not to love? An absolute classic done perfect. If you’re adding a Bible to your Audible collection, get this one.

Love hearing the Word of God on Audible!

Hearing the Word of God while driving, exercising, walking the dog, etc. provides a wonderful peace each day!

Compelling!

We as a group do our best to read the Bible through each year. Due to the fact that some of the books of the bible are harder to read, and/or a bit beyond my comprehension, I found that reading along helped me maintain a consistency. I tend to struggle through the major prophets. Due to the compelling and intense style of the professional readers I found myself feeling a bit on-the-edge-of-my-seat while enjoying the prophets this time. I would reccomend this audio book to all. It's also nice to be able to adjust the reading speed as well. And because it's Audible your place in the book is always saved so you can pick back up where you left off each time.

Wish that there was a way to know what’s being read

If I leave off and come back later there’s no way to know which book/chapter/verse is being read

Personal preferences

I didn't like some of the narrators. Maybe I'm too picky but I didn't like their affect.

The books are in order despite what some reviewers comments might led you to think. All the readers are good, and some are really good. Highly recommended!

The Word

Narration was a pleasure. I had no trouble hearing and comprehending the narrative. Great job.

Great Variety

I really enjoy the narrators. Every book is a different narrator, it really keeps me from zoning it out as I listen while driving, working, etc.

unpleasant voices

The voices reading psalms and proverbs were very unpleasant. l did not like these voiices.
