Two brothers.
One a top FBI agent.
The other a brilliant, twisted criminal.

An undying hatred between them.

Now, a perfect crime.

And the ultimate challenge:
Stop me if you can...

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. Dance of Death

Liked the book track edition very much. Hope there is a sequel to finish what was started. Narration was excellent as was the story. Couldn’t stop listening.

Always a captivating read

I enjoy how Pendergast gets the people to go along with his misadventures. I will reread the next in the series

Compelling, Gripping Intrigue & Suspense

On the heels of the page-turning ordeal of Brimstone begins the desperate effort of Pendegast to confront his shadowy, evil brother Diogenes.

Diogenes is as sinister as they come. An utter megalomaniac on the level of a Bond villain. He cares nothing for human life and utterly hates one life in particular - his brother’s - and he seeks to make it as miserable as possible, in the cruellest possible way.

The question is: Is Pendegast smart and capable enough to do anything about these schemes?

It would seem that the answer is no.

It’s a well-conceived plot with many degrees of intensity. As usual, it follows a wide cast, though the central characters are key.

As has been the case in recent books, I find myself vocally reacting to events as they unfold, encountering emotional responses to the trials and traumas of these characters.

This series has been entirely entertaining and of course, worth every moment I’ve invested in following the crafty Special Agent and his allies.

Thoroughly captivating; kept me listening practically nonstop. Highly recommend Dance of Death! The musical scores definitely enhanced the performance.

Great story and narration

As a fan of Preston and Child for many years, I’m glad to have found Audible editions. This was full of characters I have grown to appreciate.
Didn’t care for the music, however. I thought it was distracting and I didn’t know how to turn it off.
