First comes marriage

This was a really great story about a lawyer that wants a baby and a baseball player that needs money. I love how Ty and Carter came to love and lean on each other despite all the road blocks that Ty’s parents and Carter’s job create. Since I haven’t read the first book in the series, I will need to go back and see if I missed anything.

Ty’s brother Keegan is awesome and I can’t wait to read his story. I really like the story and thought it was well written and look forward to more.

I was not a fan of the narration and may pass on the audio version of any other books done by the narrator but everyone has their own faves. I recommend listening to a sample first.

Contracts & Craziness

This book had me hooked early on and I just had to keep going until I finished! With interesting characters and the absolute creepiest of circumstances, I was desperate by the end to see how it all turned out and couldn't be happier with the read!
Keegan was my absolute favorite character with his funny antics and always get involved in situations or the advice he gave. I had a great laugh wherever he showed up! Carter and Ty 's relationship was so sweet and I loved how everything worked out between them 🥰. I'm definitely going to invest in the rest of the books in this series!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Stupid idea?

Guy Veryzer is a narrator who is new to me, and I didn't enjoy his vocalisation, but that's my personal taste, though he does a reasonable job of narrating the story.
I couldn't really get good feel for the characters and I didn't really like them much to start with. I've read some of the other Hellion Club books, which I've enjoyed, but it took me far too long to get into the story and get to know the characters.
I confess I was a tad disappointed with Aiden Bates choice of narrator.

Cute and sweet

This was actually pretty cute and I enjoyed it. Both of the MCs were really endearing and I liked them right away. I loved Carter's willingness to stand up for what he believed despite it being outside of the norm for everyone and how great he was with Ty. Ty was adorable and the cutest. They really were the perfect pair. The supporting characters were all despicably medical and Guy Veryzer's delivery of them was so spot on. I honestly found his version of the characters to be so slimy and sleazy it made me cringe every time one of them would enter the story. I think this is why he got low ratings from other reviewers actually.

Have the Popcorn Ready!

Contract Baby is a longer read, filled with backstory for the MCs and secondary characters.

Omega Ty is 31, and fears he will never have the baby he craves. His older brother Keegan finds Ty an alpha who is willing marry him and get him pregnant in exchange for funds he needs. Contracts like this have been used for centuries.

Now that the contract has been signed, Ty's parents and an ex boyfriend are crawling out of the woodwork to interfere in his life. Why now? Why are these three people so invested in getting Ty back in their control?

Narrator Guy Veryzer makes the story easy to understand and listen to. It's easy to keep up with the various characters. The story is a mystery, with villainous plots afoot. Be ready to *boo, hiss* and have the popcorn ready.

Love the book, the narration not so much

I really love this book. This whole series really. It’s well written, has great characters, and I especially like that we get glimpses of the life of the previous book’s main characters.
Unfortunately I didn’t like the narrator so much. While he doe give the characters different voices and life, I just don’t like his voice in general. It was kind of trembling and unsuitable for this book. That however is my personal opinion and may not apply to someone else, which is why I gave him three stars and not less. So Im just gonna stick to the book, which I very much enjoyed reading.

A Great Story

This is the second book in The Hellion Club Series. A captivating book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters intriguing. The characters were developed and thought out. Ty Cunningham is an Omega and Carter Bowman is an Alpha and they are the MC’s of this book.

The narration was done by Guy Veryzer who is a new narrator to me. His voice didn’t work for me. Unfortunately, I am very picky about voices. There was an attempt at different voices but not successfully. He was however expressive in his narration and he wasn’t monotone because of it. If you’re not picky like I would definitely give it a listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Interesting Arranged Marriage story

I enjoyed this arranged marriage story very much. I liked both Ty and Carter and it was interesting to follow their relationship growing from mutually beneficial contract to love and all the sweet feelings they developed for each other. Contract Baby was my first book by Aiden Bates and I am looking forward to listening to other books by this author. I thought narrator had a good voice, but there were parts of dialog where narrator used this sing song tone of voice that I didn't particularly cared for. Overall it was a good listening experience. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy Alpha/Omega mpreg stories.
