This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Book is not as titled!
I was not familiar with Dorothy Parker’s work, and also had not read “The Sun Also Rises” by Hemingway.
About 60% of the way through (chapter 14) the reader introduces a chapter as part of the Hemingway work.
I checked on characters and plot and most of this audiobook isn’t at all what the listing says it is. There may be a couple of short stories and a poem at the beginning that are by Parker but the rest up to at least chapter 14 seems to be a long section of The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway.
Confusing, misleading, and very frustrating! I’m going to ask for a refund.
