Publisher's summary

Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon must battle an army of genetically engineered mercenaries to stop a hypersonic missile attack in this explosive new adventure in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.

When Cabrillo is hired to extract an undercover operative in Kenya, he finds himself on the trail of a deadly international plot. A Saudi prince seeks to unleash a deadly assault on U.S. forces, sparking a new war in the Middle East and ultimately destroying Israel.

Cabrillo’s crew have met their most fearsome adversaries yet: a force of bio-hacked soldiers endowed with extreme strength and stamina and an unquenchable appetite for violence. The Oregon team must journey from the Amazon rainforest to an abandoned monastery in Eritrea before a final showdown in the mountains of Yemen, using every shred of courage and cunning they can muster to disable the ship-killer missile before the Arabian Sea becomes a mass grave.

CC would be proud!

An exciting tale from start to finish! The formula still works and the Maden h kept the intrigue and suspense from scene to scene.
Scott Brick’s narration was spot on (he seems to always be improving) and kept the characters distinct and vibrant. Clear, articulate and easy to understand! We’ll done!

The smoothness of the Reading of the story.

The length of the Book was a perfect one to work by doing a manual task.

Clive is missed!

Clive's absence was obvious, but this was still a good effort to continue the saga. Perhaps one or two too many unbelievable scifi gadgets, though

Morris's greater role was an excellent addition. Glad he survived, however, he would have corrected a number of grammatical and pronunciation errors since speaks English, not American!

Overall, a pretty good story and a good listen.

Seems to be a confused patchwork of Cussler story lines, not quite what I

It seems to be a confused patchwork Cussler works. It’s almost as if a different person wrote each chapter.

It is good but not Clive Cussler.

It is a very good book on it's own. Love Scott Brick, so very good at the reading of books makes them real. But it is missing something Clive Cussler put something in them not sure what. It is a good read, Get it and enjoy.

Another great audio book from the Cussler Group

Always enjoyable! Narrator is perfect! Some of the dialog about the bag guys is slightly verbose - my only real complaint! Recommended for anyone who enjoys Clive Cussler.
