If these characters would just talk to each other. Rya's character frustrated me to no end. She was always running away. I felt like the book ended very abruptly.

Enjoyed the book and the storyline. I thought they could of been more descriptive about places and add more details to the story (I thought the coworker was going to be a bad guy/kidnapper) but overall it was a good read/listen. Will check out more from the authors

📣 FEEDBACK: There was a lot of back and forth between the characters throughout the story but I was hoping for more action with the FMC (attacked, kidnapped, another mafia boss tries to marry her, etc.). The spice scenes were fun but the spice itself wasn’t very adventurous. The pace throughout was slow/ repetitive then the last part after the return to Italy went very quick (almost like the authors were over this story and just wanted to end it). Overall a good story with mafia and crime, a smart and strong FMC, lots of banter, character growth and development, and a HEA.

While i love the feisty FMC, she's also annoying in her contradictions. She said she removed herself from her father's world but the truth is she became a lawyer defending criminals, and she's good at it. She keeps refusing to marry Crue but when he got engaged to her sister, she got mad and made a scene at the restaurant. Like she wasn't the one who shot him just so she can get away from their wedding. I can't roll my eyes hard enough. Still, it's a good book all in all and Aiden made it better.
