Story
Mr. Griffin marshals the evidence that cancer is a deficiency disease like scurvy or pellagra aggravated by the lack of an essential food compound in modem mans diet. That substance is vitamin B17. In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile. Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non-drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics, and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment.

When a pseudonymous programmer introduced “a new electronic cash system that’s fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party” to a small Online mailing list in 2008, very few paid attention. Ten years later, and against all odds, this upstart autonomous decentralized software offers an unstoppable and globally-accessible hard money alternative to modern central banks. The Bitcoin Standard analyzes the historical context to the rise of Bitcoin, the economic properties that have allowed it to grow quickly, and its likely economic, political, and social implications.

Figuring she could have more of an impact on Fed policies from the inside, she accepted the call to duty and rose to be one of Dallas Fed president Richard Fisher's closest advisors.

Story
Based on the groundbreaking research of respected historian Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope 101 reveals an unimaginably devious political system, skillfully manipulated by a handful of elite, which is undermining freedom and democracy as we know it. The goal of those who control the system, in Quigley's own words, is to dominate "all habitable portions of the world." Using deception, theft, and violence, they have achieved more toward this goal than any rulers in human history. However, the Information Age is quickly derailing their plans. The immorality of their system has become nearly impossible to hide.

An international conspiracy among powerful bankers, business leaders, and government officials; closed-door meetings in the Swiss Alps; and calls for a radical transformation of every society on earth - the Great Reset sounds like it is one henchman-with-an-eyepatch away from being the plot for the next James Bond movie. But The Great Reset is not a work of fiction. It is a highly influential movement among the world’s elite to “reset” the global economy using banks, government programs, and environmental, social, and governance metrics.

Over 4,000 students gathered at the University of Michigan to hear Republican Party candidate Ron Paul speak. As he began to address the topics of monetary policy and the coming depression, a chant rose from the crowd, "End the Fed! End the Fed!" As dollar bills were lit on fire and thrown into the night skies, it became clear that the real problem, one that nobody in the media was talking about, was the central bank-an unconstitutional entity and a political, economic, and moral disaster.

Publisher's summary
This classic expose of the Fed has become one of the best-selling books in its category of all time. Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magician's secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You'll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story - which it really is, but it's all true.
This book is about the most blatant scam of history. It's all here: the cause of wars, boom-bust cycles, inflation, depression, prosperity. Your world view will definitely change. Putting it quite simply, this may be the most important book on world affairs you will ever read.
The 5th Edition includes a no-holds barred analysis of bank bailouts under the Bush and Obama Administrations that are shown to be nothing less than legalized plunder of the American people. Many other updates have been added, including a revision to the list of those who attended the historic meeting at Jekyll Island, where the Federal Reserve was created.

Data is fundamental to the modern world. From economic development, to healthcare, to education and public policy, we rely on numbers to allocate resources and make crucial decisions. But because so much data fails to take into account gender, treating men as the default and women as atypical, bias and discrimination are baked into our systems. And women pay tremendous costs for this bias in time, money, and often with their lives. Celebrated feminist advocate Caroline Criado Perez investigates the shocking root cause of gender inequality and research in Invisible Women.

Years ago, after suffering a humiliatingly large dumb tax, it dawned on me that I have a seemingly unlimited ability to hit unforced errors and sabotage my business and financial success. I suspect you do, too. It turns out that the key to getting rich (and staying that way) is to avoid doing stupid things. I don't need to do more smart things. I just need to make fewer dumb mistakes. The vast majority of our dumb tax is a direct result of emotional, overly optimistic, and poorly thought out decisions.

It details a highly efficient form of cash value life insurance designed to supercharge your savings and stockpile wealth.

In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile. Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non-drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics, and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment.

Absolutely Brilliant! How the powerful enslave
If you could sum up The Creature from Jekyll Island in three words, what would they be?
Revealing, Sickening, Empowering
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I especially appreciated the authors perspective with regard to the political and economic forces leading up to the civil war, as well as sheding light on the powers and more base motives facing Lincoln as the war wore on. this book brings a great deal of insight to many of the events that have shaped our county. He brings to light how the many facets and influences of monetary control have worked against America since its inception. For the history buff's... I guarantee at least 2 to 3 Ah ha moments. This book really stitched together key historic events of the last two hundred years with each cause and effect. Demonstrating time and again the destructive and enslaving paterns used by powerful monetary forces to literally control the "Free" people of the world
Any additional comments?
The Narration was excellent. I often felt as though I was traveling by train through history, being enlightened as my traveling companion Mr. Griffin explained to my understanding, in some cases for the first time the passing historical landscape.
Despite the size of the book... I didn't want it to end.

So far on Audible this is my favorite book. It is so well performed by the speaker and the story is absolutely terrifying. With that said, it give valuable information to inform others of the things done in greed.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Creature from Jekyll Island to be better than the print version?
Yes
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Creature from Jekyll Island?
The trip into the future taken in the last chapter…
And in earlier chapters learning that money not politics controls the world.
Which character – as performed by Mark Bramhall – was your favorite?
This is not a book of characters being performed, it's a nonfiction about global control
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It took me three days nonstop listening to complete this book
Any additional comments?
What draws us to the books we read? I have heard the Federal Reserve mentioned in other books, a paragraph here a chapter there. I only wanted to learn a little more about the federal reserve, but what I got instead was Morphious offering me the red or blue pill in the form of this fantastic book. If you choose the red pill and read this book, you will never see money the same way again.
I was expecting a simple book about bankers meeting in secret on an island, and what I got was so much more. This book takes us back into history, brings us up to present date, and my favorite part, A trip into the future that we can all see has already begun just by reading today's newspaper headlines.
I have to say that when I finished this book I no longer saw the world the same… I see it now as a much scarier place!
