Easy for kids to understand

This was easy enough for my 1st grader to understand. It kept his interest throughout the duration. My preschooler was not at all interested, though. I could see it keeping the interest of any elementary school aged child. Just wish it were longer. It is pretty basic, but my son still had questions about the government, etc. these things were mentioned in the story, but not expanded upon.

Libertarian rant

It appears that many books in this series are from a very libertarian position. They sow a basic distrust of government. This one indicates, without stating it overtly, that taxes are wrong.

Great values!

The Law is a simple book that explains timeless values (some that have been lost). I would recommend this book for any child ages 7-9. I will be buying the paperback version for sure. As I imagine that the illustrations will be enjoyable for my son!

Good Moral of the Story but the Price?!

This was not worth the $16 I pay each month. Perhaps three or four books for that price I can stomach.
