Good Fianancial Fundamentals!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Richest Man In Babylon - Original Edition to be better than the print version?

I have listened to many audio books, and this one is on my top three favorites. Christa's voice was awesome and her tone adjustments throughout the book bring the characters to life. I usually prefer female voices for my audio books, studies show that a female voice retains a listener's attention span for longer periods of time. So true! The story's lessons are priceless and I look forward to teaching my children the principles of saving and investing in yourself. Oh, and the audio was studio quality, no issues. Nice job guys!

Wow! More than expected

I had started reading this book at least a couple times then lost interest early in the book. Enter Audible—there is so much more to this than I imagined! As a ‘Law of Attraction’ student (which brought me back to this book) I found myself excited, taking notes, and talking up the book to friends. Note: I wasn’t exciter about the narrator at the beginning but I stuck with it and she is excellent!

One truth many times repeated.

If you are like me, who needs to hear the same idea many times and in multitude of situations, you will like this book. This book is mostly about investing in reliable sources of income (tries to define "reliable") while original and consistent basis for such an investment, comes from one's major profession. There is also a brilliant way to explain how even in the Not Information Economy, enrichment of one may not lead or come from mpoverishhment of others.

Awesome storytelling to get a point across!

Would you consider the audio edition of Richest Man In Babylon - Original Edition to be better than the print version?

Audio is good if you don't have time to sit down and read...

What did you like best about this story?

Applying age old wisdom to everyday problems.

What does Christa Lewis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

At first my husband and I were sure we could not listen to the readers voice through a whole book....but after the first 10 minutes we didn't notice the monotone! Just being honest and I am so glad we kept going.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, we had a car trip and wanted to finish it before we returned home.

Any additional comments?

Good story- good ideas and wisdom.

some interesting views told in an relatable way.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for practical advice on life, work, finances and those interested in views on self development.
I was told about this book from a couple of business owners who put into practice some of the lessons within the book.
I can see myself listening to this again and again over the years ahead.
My only drawback was in my head I found it difficult to picture Babylon as a tangible geographical location and found it to be a resistance block to the main concepts.
I'm confident this will get easier to understand the more I listen to it though.
