Dark, Bully and so many Secrets

Just what I was in the mood for dark and so many questions. Margo is back in Rose Hill with a tainted past and some of those things from the past don’t stayed left behind. She’s bullied, beaten and manipulated. Caleb Asher is the leader of it all. Yet he can’t stay away from her. There are so many secrets surrounding Margo and so much she can’t remember. No one will tell her and just when she thinks things are going her way the rug is pulled out from under her. The twist at the end I was waiting for, but didn’t see it coming the way it did!

Pure torture

This story pulled me in right from the start. He was determined to ruin her—tormenting her, even making sure she was bullied in school. But the twist is, she’s the one person he can’t let go of, no matter how much he tries to push her away.

As the tension grows, their relationship shifts in ways I didn’t expect. She starts breaking down her walls, and just when she should’ve protected herself the most, she lets him in. The push and pull between them kept me glued to every chapter.

The narrator brought so much life to the characters, making the emotions hit even harder. And that cliffhanger? Absolutely nailed—it left me needing the next installment immediately.

Abuse

I love this author, and I love her Hockey Gods series. but this was not a bully romance. This was just abuse from start to finish. it also ended on a cliff hanger. I'll be googling what happens in the rest of the series because I can't deal with more of this.
