Intelligent and spicy read! Highly recommend

Rare combination in a romance novel of emotionally intelligent writing, real life dialogue and situations, and some fun spice!
Maxine and Teddy are incredible — they portray the characters rather than read lines, and Maxine’s male voice actually sounds like Teddy. Great listen!

100% love

I love how relatable the story is and I love the story arc. The characters are wonderful they don’t just hold places they’re lovable and add to the story. I had heard Teddy Hamilton narrate a book before and that is how I chose this book and it was wonderful, I hadn’t heard Maxine Mitchell and now she is one of my faves too I’m going to go looking for some books that she narrates and see what kind of journey takes me on. I’m pretty sure that I’m addicted to the “game on series” and can’t wait to hear the next one.

Good overall

Story was good, but a bit too long. Most of it could have been condensed some.

Good but had it's moments...

This started out with so much potential. I was like ok a cute sassy meet cute with some sexy times and light drama then bammm here comes the whiny insecure female the constant push and pull it just gets exhausting. Overall I finished the book but on the fence about weather it will be a repeat listen

Loves this story Ana Banana and Drew

Well first love the nickname since I’m Ana and always called Banana and of course Betty Boop.

This was a beautiful story and I laughed , cried a little but truly truly enjoyed it. I will relished again. 150% goes to show you don’t give up on love it’s it’s true ❤️

I don’t even know what to say. It’s everything I’ve wanted to listen to in a while. Perfect plot and theme. I loved how straight forward the story was and how unconventional it was to have the male characters fall at first sight. I love how it represented how curvy girls (like myself) can be so unconditionally them selves and pull away from the stereotype of a college football star being with a small fit, female. I appreciate the love that was shown towards those who can really relate and know that you can even find yourself a famous football quarterback😁

Narrators are fantastic and you can’t help rooting for Anna to find herself and Drew not to give up! Beautiful story! Great listen!

story was just about an hour too long

great story and narration but just needed to have ended about an hours sooner

Ending a big let down

No spoiler that the girl gets the guy and so on… it’s a romance obviously. But what you want - if you are an avid romance devour-er (lol) is the Story. This being the first book by this author - I am not sure if this is normal for her. I was quickly engaged - and while there were several moments throughout where the introspection of the main female character goes on and on a bit too much too often (which I feel happens a lot with these types of authors) - I still felt that the story is woven very well and the spicy parts were HOT, so overall I thought it was well written…. until the end. For the build up of this story - the intensity of the two and their situation - you would think that there would be a bit more depth and pulling the reader into the remainder of the romance. But it’s like the story was Done. That’s it. OK - on to something else. Wait. WHAT?!? That’s IT!??
What a major let down. Perhaps some would say, well - that’s what everyone wanted to happen - so why drag it out? But isn’t that the mark of a really talented writer? Is to inVolve the reader. To pull them in and engage them into the weave of the interaction between two interesting lives - and then Keep the reader wrapped up into that story throughout. All the way Through The End? After the interest of the story - I was just disappointed at the end with how abrupt it was. Maybe I’ll try one more of her books to see if perhaps any of her other stories engage the reader all the way Through the end. It almost felt as though - once the main story plot line was resolved - the writer had something else to do - so she did the basic minimum in wrapping up all the main point(s) required to fulfill the story line and that was IT. Perhaps it is just that the rest of the story was so Well Done that I’m disappointed the ending was not as thoroughly satisfying and it is just a Me problem? Who knows? Hope others enjoy the entire thing a bit more satisfying than I did.
