Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel
Would you consider the audio edition of Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel to be better than the print version?
I really enjoyed both editions. The audio edition really brought the characters to life.
Also, it is convenient to be able to pause, and continue during the audio.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Rhonda really stands out. She is such a brash, but lovely character. She tells it like it is, so to speak. She has a big heart, and really protects those she loves.
Which character – as performed by Angela Dawe – was your favorite?
I cannot choose a favorite character by the performance of Angela Dawe. She portrayed each character exactly as they were in the print version. She is so talented in her craft.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A Beautiful Banquet of Beachy Delight
Any additional comments?
This book will appeal to anyone who enjoys the beach, sunsets, gourmet food, and love.
The setting is truly a unique experience in itself. I could picture it, in my mind, and yearned to be there.

great series -- looking forward to reading more!
Would you listen to Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel again? Why?
I read the book and have now been listening to the audio version while I drive.
I look forward to listening to Lunch and Dinner at the Beach House Hotel.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Many great characters -- but, having been divorced - I found Ann's situation compeling.
What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Angela portrays the voices of the characters much as I heard them myself when reading this book.
I especially liked her portrayal of Rhonda
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
OH -- If only there was time to sit down and listen to this in several longer sessions. It would be very easy to listen to Angela for longer lengths of time - and the story holds your interest well.

A place I'd like to visit!
Any additional comments?
Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel is a light contemporary romance story about a divorced middle aged woman down on her luck and needing to start over. The story provides the struggles of starting a business and dating as a new single. Like I mentioned, this is a light story meaning feelings are discussed and there are moments when you're swept in emotionally but most of the time you're just an observer in this story. For me, today, while dealing with the the impending death of a loved one, this book was perfect; kind of like a Hallmark movie.

A Beach House you would like to visit
I am totally enjoying this series! I read the book first and enjoyed it
so much I then purchased the audio. Rhonda and Ann met through
their daughters. They have such different personalities but have
become best friends. That friendship will serve them well as they start their hotel business together. They have no easy time as they start
their business, but they never give up and always stay determined.
I love the strength the two women show. There were twist and turns,
but through all the relationships between mothers and daughter,
exes, and new loves it made for a delightful book. The narrator
did an excellent job with the characters in the book. Looking forward
to many more books from the author Judith Keim.
