Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon has created a sensation with her sexy stories about the Bureau of American Defense. Now, three novellas about BAD agents are collected in one steamy volume!

In the all-new One BAD Night, the bureau believes that agent Jason Banks has sold them out. Agent Samantha Winslow has never particularly cared for Jason, whom she reluctantly finds attractive, and she volunteers to bring him in. Under orders to infiltrate his rogue mission and kidnap him, she is also trying to pull off the ultimate double-cross. But who would have guessed that Jason would be so pleased to be her captive?

In BAD to the Bone, Marianne wins the Hideaway Heroine Sweepstakes and a chance to pretend to be the heroine in her favorite romance novel. Whisked away to a remote island, Marianne's daydreams become real when BAD agent Kyle Foster kidnaps her and uncovers her every fantasy.

In "Captivated" by You, BAD agent Rhea must go undercover as a dominatrix to capture a deadly terrorist. Fortunately, Agent "Ace" Krux, whom she has long desired, is her training partner. Immediately, the roles of master and slave are wonderfully blurred, and Rhea and Ace unleash a wealth of hidden desire.

Wrong narrator

I don’t actually know if the stories are any good, I couldn’t listen to the narration. I’ve listened to iiKane before, but she read as a socially awkward character, so I never noticed how choppy she is. This is supposed to be sexy, dark, covert, and it just isn’t. She reads it like a kids book, doing all the voices, punctuation, and drama, and I couldn’t get past it to hear the story.

LOVE THIS NARRATOR

I LOVE THE NARRATOR BUT IT DOES NOT FIT THE COVER OF THE BOOK. WHEN YOU LISTEN YOU KNOW THAT THE NARRATOR VOICE DOES NOT FIT THE CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS.

Ummmm..

Mistress Sherrilyn doesn't write s bad story...but she doesn't control how its read.
The narrator leaves A LOT to be desired but, if you can get past that, the stories are fantastic!

couldn't hang with the narrator

I couldn't hang with the narrator. her voice was nice and smoky and though she didn't seem to have much variation in voices she at least had a decent masculine sound for the male parts. It was her cadence and diction that put me off.
I also had trouble figuring out what the story line was about.
In the end I just couldn't hang with this book even though I have enjoyed reading other books by this author the audio of this book just didn't hold me. I may look into narrowing this to read instead of listen to.

two ok one good

so the first and last stories were ok but I really enjoyed the middle one with the teacher and the agent. there was so much potential to extend this story into a very exciting, action packed love story. I would love to see the author revamp it. would definitely be a fantastic read or audio book. this narrator was outstanding! I would listen to her narrations without hesitation. she made the characters really come alive even in the ok stories. also I think I would buy this just hear the middle story. I hope this narrator continues reading for this author.

Truly Awful

The story is subpar and takes too long to draw you in. The characters are unlikable and unrealistic. When the narrator attempts to do a German accent, it comes out vaguely Asian sounding and the character speaking comes across as a dolt. It's a good thing this book is free because it isn't worth anything - especially your time.

Couldn’t listen

I got about 10 minutes in when I had to stop. I couldn’t stand the narrator. I gave the story a 3 because I don’t actually know but I love Sherrilyn Kenyon. I just wish she would have used a different narrator.
