Great story of overcoming large obstacles

Enjoyed listening to this story from beginning to end. What journey he went through. The documentary style of this story helped as a listener step away from the horrific torment that these POWs went through.

Amazing story of resilience, courage, forgiveness.

Moving, disturbing, encouraging, and heartbreaking: Unbroken prompted a flood of conflicting emotions. Laura Hiillenbrand does an amazing job of bringing the life of Louie Zampperrini into sharp detail. In my mind's eye, I found myself in the planes while on mission. I was there on the high seas following their downing and I stood in the shadows as a witness to the atrocities of the POW camp. Highly recommend this inspiring tale of courage, faith, and forgiveness.

Fantastic read I just hope the movie is 1/2 as good as the book and it will be a winner. Hard to put down it makes your emotions go in all directions. God got a winner when he called Louie home.

Illustrates the power of the human spirit to endure and the power of God given to man to forgive. Inspiring!

I don't know when I've enjoyed a book more than this one. So very inspirational! The author was wonderful and so was the narrator. I wholeheartedly recommend this!

Incredible survival story

This book is amazing, I don't know how Louis was able to come out alive. This is an inspiration to never give up.
