I love Stephen Fry BUT

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I know he loves his words but there were just too many needless ones.

What could Stephen Fry have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Edit it!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Mr Fry as the narrator did not detract at all.

A masterpiece of tedious self absorption

So far the only book I regret downloading, the author seems to have some difficulty understanding the diffrence between being verbose rather than eloquent. The tone is best described as Uriah Heep meets Brideshead Revisited. The only reason for purchasing this book is to understand the full meaning of the term ego.

Give this one a berth.

A wide one! Several hours of verbal showing off with minimal substance. Should be paid to listen to it.

not what I expected

What disappointed you about The Fry Chronicles?

monotone monologue failed to bring the expected life to Stephen's life story. Not recommended for listening to while driving!
