Publisher's Summary

Dark, deviant, and deliriously funny, Jude Angelini writes in the colloquial vein of Charles Bukowski, using his unique, natural voice to tell stories from his life. He writes about his sexual encounters - both strange and intimate - alongside stories from his childhood and his tell-all experiences with "science drugs". Throughout it all, Jude is critical of himself and his actions, proving himself to be vulnerable, lonely, and extremely relatable. A stellar follow-up to Hyena.

Honest. Entertaining. Hilarious at times and tragic at others. Highly, highly recommend this book.

Honest. Entertaining. Hilarious at times and tragic at others. Highly, highly recommend this book. The very short stories are the perfect format and that Jude reads this himself is a treat to say the least. This needs to be its own HBO series.

Jude is not for everyone but give him a try

A white poet with a ghetto voice. Heartbreaking and bleak, insightful and inspiring. NPR should be all over him with praise. It’ll happen. Go Jude Go.

Great listen

I enjoy how open and honest he is. Some of the stories were kind of blah but overall he did a good job.

Even better than Hyena.

This book had more emotion than the previous one. A lot of chapters start, and end the same way, but the journey is always refreshingly different. This is one of my favorite books, and I plan to listen again.
