Good story

Sweet & sad story with a good ending. Liked it. Good characters, good plot. Easy to listen to.

Too much

This book started off pretty good and then just kept going and going and going and going and going. It was like watching the end of the Lord of the Rings when Frodo is trying to throw the ring into the volcano, like it would never, ever happen. This book was so freaking painful. It was just too much to handle at once. This could’ve been two books.

Heartbreaking and Wonderful

The story was so well written and performed. A story of love and loss and found family. I very much enjoyed it

Do yourself a favor and read/listen to this beautiful story. It’s heartbreakingly beautiful…it’s a story field with grief, loss, and love in all of its forms and most importantly what truly makes a family. Just beautiful

Great story, sad but sweet

Heartbreaking story. I knew there would be tears. I was able to hold off for the most part, but definitely some times that broke me. I loved almost all of the characters. I struggled with the ethical dilemma and finally settled on just let people live their own lives. Bowie had a beautiful heart and I loved what Maddy said at the end, that he was the best of all of them.

Refreshing

Blunt and filled with surprise and challenges of complicated love relationships and forgiveness. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book.

Good story with great characters

Interesting story with characters that were unique. This story told with compassion and care. Excellent narration !

Excellent “feel good” story of love and a tragic death!

I liked the way the story promised to be one of pure sadness and mysteriously turned into one of surprising joy! The author created a supreme character who was capable of the most pure love imaginable.I was reluctant to read the story after reading the summary. I knew the story was destined to be sad. However in a magical plot twist, against all odds, the novel left you light- hearted and joyous!
