Once upon a time, Maggie Cooper lived for adventure. Jumping out of planes was child’s play. Now she can’t even work up the nerve to ask out her coworker. For a bit of self-therapy, she begins to text her recently deceased mother’s phone - the only problem is that the number has been reassigned and for weeks she’s been unknowingly texting a stranger her deepest thoughts and feelings. There have also been some not-so-deep texts, like the ones about her appreciation for her coworker’s butt.

When Chase Beckett, the unsuspecting stranger who has more in common with Maggie than he’d like to admit, texts back, Maggie is beyond mortified. But message after message and night after night, Maggie realizes that Chase’s wit, charm, and advice are exactly what the doctor ordered. Is it enough, though, to get her back up in the sky? And what about her heart? Can she risk taking a leap of faith for the man on the other end of her accidental texts?

Perfect!

I loved this book! It had so many emotions to it. I love the characters and their story. Becky Monson hit a home run with this book for sure! As I was reading I kept picturing how cute this would be as a cute Hallmark movie.

Really good - a tear jerker, but in a good way

Really good, sweet story. Forewarning, if you've ever lost anyone close to you, it might be tough to listen to. But great if you're in need of a good cry. 🥲

Don't let that stop you from listening to this - I almost never write reviews, but this was so good, I felt compelled to.

I like how the book approaches losing loved ones - finding creative ways to remember and honor them, and growing through the grieving process. Plus a sweet romance in the mix.

I love this book!

this book was sweet and kind and thoughtful and everything you'd want in a relationship. I love the characters and the storyline I think anyone would enjoy this book give it a try!!

Clever premise

While in reality if this happened. It would be weird and very strange. However, Megan and Chase story was told with so much love and understanding of bereavement.

I would have liked for the author to have made a series for this book. The author wrote Devon and Hannah characters really well and so it is a shame we do not get a story about them individually or together.

So much to explore in regards to Hannah and Devon (Megan brother).
