Heartfelt

This story had depth and emotion evolving from the main characters; including fear, guilt, and love. I was rooting for Holland and Zander all the way through but admittedly felt the story was a little drawn out with the mystery/secret each possessed, but all in all a worthwhile and enjoyable read. I and was happy to see their HEA!

Sweet and soothing with a bit of depth

A really nice story with some unexpected twists. Not enough to be stressful but enough to keep Me wanting to continue listening. Great narrator too

Fun and Romantic

Loved the storyline and the slow romantic build! The narration was lovely and soothing. Just the book to entertain me on a long drive.

Good for free, a bit slow.

I liked the basic storyline. Though the “we can’t tell each other the truth” got to be a bit much. The narrator’s American accent was laughable.

The writing was good and succinct

An enjoyable story with too much melodrama towards the end. The narrator was excellent as was the prose. The characters were fun and distinctive.

I loved the story line a bit to slow

Loved the story line was not expecting the twist. Great story loved the love story. Kudos to the writer

Good, but

I liked the complex story, though I agree with other reviewers that the mysteries took too long to come out. I had a pretty good idea of what it was going to be though there was one piece I didn’t guess.

That said, my biggest issue is that it takes a very similar path as the first book where something tragic in the hero and heroine’s life is coincidentally linked with the person they fall in love with. So while details and setting are certainly different, it’s the same approach as the first book in the series and that is disappointing to me. It felt too similar.

Real emotions.

This book is full of real character development. Things that are wild fiction situations mixed in with truth and friendship and blossoming love. Boundaries, trauma, and a little faith go a long way. It was the perfect mix of difficult and loving. I loved it. I’ll absolutely listen again. The narration is perfection.
