Only in Rinaverse does hockey and dark romance come together so deliciously.
The way my brain lit up when I made the connection to her other books.
I listen to a shitton of audiobooks, mostly dark romance , and finding something this good does not happen often! It’s written well, the spice is goooooood, the dark is twisty and Kane is definitely now part of my top 5 dark MMCs. The twist was so gloriously obvious and I completely missed it, but it’s because Rina has this way of keeping your mind in a chokehold. I haven’t read the book, but I think the audio just kicks it up a notch.
The narrators were out of this world!
Michelle Sparks was epic as always, really can’t go wrong with her. It’s my first Corvin King listen and holy smokes, that voice, gasp, pant, swoon, insert all the dirty adjectives.
Shut up and take my money.

Beautiful Venom is the first book of the all new Vipers series of dark hockey romances. This is more than just hockey though. We get secret society, psycho MMC, strong FMC that will stop at nothing to find out who hurt her sister, suspense, tension, spice and just an all around great read! Both Kane and Dahlia have dark and tragic pasts. Kane more so than Dahlia and in turn that makes him the calm and controlling psychopath that he is. The tension and spice with these two was off the charts and I devoured every bit of it! I have a feeling I’m going to love Jude’s book even more and can’t wait to read it!

🎧Corbin King and Michelle sparks out did themselves with their duet narration. I felt every single emotion and I truly believe the audio made the book for me.

Rina Kent just doesn’t miss. Another amazing story and man did I loooove the MMC. Kane Davenport, the man you are - SHOOOO. Corvin King is a total master at the dark romance narration and hats off to Michelle Sparks for perfectly executing Dhaila’s character! The chemistry was off the charts with these characters and I can’t wait to see them again in the next books of this series!

I really should take a breath between reading and reviewing but here we go.

I was sooooo on the fence about this book cause RK is a hit or miss for me and my last one was a miss. It took some time before I got into it but when I did *chefs kiss* ate. It. Up.

Dahlia was so good as an fmc which was a huge surprise for me. It’s usually the MMCs that keep me going in the rinaverse but she was SO GOOD and not to speak of the mmc because hi Kane 🫠🫠

I can't contain my excitement this was SOOOOO GOOD!!!! Kane's sulty sexy voice was perfection! I loved the FMC! She's a bada$$! Absolutely loved this!!!!
