I LOVED the other dark forces book Leave me Behind and I LOVE this one! I definitely want a physical copy of this book to put on my shelf. She does an amazing job at dark romance that’s diffident than the others. Her character artwork is beautiful as well and I love that she created it herself! ❤️🥰

The audiobook was amazing! The performance was phenomenal and loved the accents!

That cliffhanger was a bit of a WTF?! But, I expected nothing less. Cameron is a legit psychopath, pretty much due to his circumstances. Emery is an underworld princess assassin and has recently found herself in prison for some of her contracts. She’s pulled into the dark forces training camp and paired with psycho Cameron, who has a pension for unaliving his partners. What could go wrong?

Cliffhanger Ending

This book started strong, but it fell flat. Emery was supposed to be a fierce executioner for her wealthy mafia family. She was skilled with guns, but needed to improve her combat training. The number of times she described his eyes as sage color was annoying! Her psycho partner, Cameron, ends up catching feelings instead of killing her. The plot reminded me of Hunger Games with a large side of smut.

OMG K.M. continues to be one of my favorite authors! I LOVE her dark forces! That cliffhanger will have me on edge until December! Ugh! The narrators are PHENOMENAL!

Your Knife, My Heart is a dark military romance that leaves us on a cliffy. I was excited for this one because I really loved Leave Me Behind, so that's the mindset I was walking into this one with. I was not super impressed, unfortunately. The spicy scenes were good. The narration was on point. The story just fell a little flat for me until we got to the end and things escalated quickly. I didn't hate it, by any means. I just didn't love it either.
