Good clean stories

I like how the stories continued through families. Kept my interest up. I also liked the relationship with the Sioux Indians.

Great series

I really enjoy the wholesome stories. My only disappointment was the change from the first narrator who did such a good job with all the characters to this one who lacked the ability to bring the characters to life or the ability to tell the male voices from the female voices.

Complete Package

I received a free copy of this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed in exchange for an honest review.
Books 5-8 continue the story of the mail order brides in Bear Creek. New characters and some familiar ones follow the series. The history is rich and the characters memorable. The narration was good. Sometimes I want to read a light story that's worthy of my time. This one definitely qualifies.

I Loved this story

I loved the story. It was detailed and went into so many different aspects of the characters. I did not enjoy the narration. I wish narrators would research the correct pronunciation of words, in this instance the word, "livery", which is where horses are kept. It has a short 'I' not a long 'I'. As pronounced like a 'liver' adding a 'y'. Not like, the show was 'live".
It only takes watching a few episodes of Gunsmoke to learn that.
This is hard to explain, it also seemed she was just reading it....not participating in the story.
Anyway, the great story held it's own. I'm hoping the next series has a different narrator.

Excellent series

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Bear Creek Brides thus far and would recommend it to all readers! The continual growth of a community and their lives is perfectly balanced! The kindness and allowance of different individuals becoming one big family is warming and urges each chapter to continue!
