Publisher's summary

If the Pacific falls to the Chinese, they will be one step closer to dominating all of Asia.

A line has been drawn in the sand - if there is any hope of stemming Operation Red Storm, the Philippines cannot be conquered. Will the Allies be able to hold their ground in this intense sea battle?

Reeling from the loss of two aircraft carriers, the US is forced to move its carriers from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific. Will additional ships from the Atlantic Fleet and the new railguns on the Zumwalt-class destroyers be enough to overcome the drone and cruise missile swarms of the Chinese navy? Or will the sheer numbers of incoming munitions simply overtake the Allied forces?

Battlefield Pacific is the highly anticipated fourth book in the Red Storm geopolitical military thriller series. If you like pulse-pounding combat scenes, rich characters, and unpredictable twist and turns, you’ll love James Rosone and Miranda Watson’s newest addition to the series.

Uncover some of the deeper threads that have been woven in Russia and China’s master plot. With the addition of India and Indonesia to their alliance, will the democracies of the West be able to stand against the dictatorial regimes of the East? Grab your copy of Battlefield Pacific to join the action and find out.

The Red Storm Series is best enjoyed when read in the correct order as each book builds on the previous work.

Another Great book by Mr. Rasone, and Mrs.Watson.

Loved it.
Mr. Rasones books are very realistic, or what I imagine a war would be like. The flow of the story is outstanding and the way he ties it all together is great too. I like how this book ended, and the next pick up without skipping a beat.
Great job, makes my daily commute to and from work enjoyable.

Wow, just wow.

Great story excellently told. There were quite a few moments when I thought about turning it off as the story not only kept me gripped but illicited no little anxiety regarding the outcome. I can't wait for the next installment.

Awful Narrator

I was enjoying the series so far. However the new narrator is more suited for a young adult fantasy novel. He sounds too whimsical at times and is awful with accents. His voice takes me out of the story more often than not. Very disappointing because I want to finish the series and know he is on it for the rest of the time.

Love the story and series, but…

The narrator is very frustrating to listen to. I struggle with hearing what should be battle-hardened soldiers and marines sounding whiny, like a 12-year old girl not getting her way. Again, love the story and I will continue to plug on.

Oof, very up and down.

The reader is not bad! He is not as good as the last reader, but don't quit just because of a new reader. This book has some really REALLY cringey lines in it. If you were in the military, you will understand. The combination of the writing and the soft child like reading makes the characters sound like people pretending to be in the military.

Returning to the Pacific

I have always wondered how a Pacific Conflict with the Chinese would pan out. Yes, the authors did not disappoint in the very least. Harsh jungles, not so friendly entrenched Chicom forces. Definitely filled in a gap. Someday, James Rosone and Miranda Watson should commission a war journal or book showing detailed engagements like you would see in the Osprey series.
