Possibly better than Ops’s Center…?

Great story line. Lots of action but nothing over the top and fake. Story is believable and possible. Ending sucks but sets up the second book well. Great start for the series. Narrator does a great job throughout. I put a reminder on my phone for the release of the second book.

Action packed military thriller.

Do you like military thrillers? How about military thrillers filled with as much intrigue as action? If your answer is yes, Command and Control is for you! From the opening salvo in this book the reader gets wrapped up in a story built around a spy who sets up America’s enemies against America. The military protocol and technology remind me of the early Jack Ryan stories from Tom Clancy. Along with unending action, spies, and several unforeseen twists these authors craft a story that could happen in today’s world. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next. What I do know is it will require a seatbelt because I’m sure it will be a rollercoaster ride just like Command and Control. Steve Rausch’s narration took an awesome story and kicked it up several notches – I can’t wait to hear what he does with Counter Strike. I received a review copy of the audiobook from the publisher and chose to provide my review.

Like the book

Enjoyed the whole thing, command and control maybe ,you better read it to see if the author hit a home run or a lined out foul. I recommend it and that should be enough.

Excellent read!

This was an extraordinary book to listen to in the days before and after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Characters were believable and dialogue was very well written. Plot development was excellent. Narration was very good.

The only downside, for me, was the very detailed description of weapons, ships, etc., especially toward the end. But if you have a military background and are interested in that kind of thing, you'll probably love it. I can't wait until my new credit's are available and I can start Book 2.

Good story - audio editing issues

This was a good story, a believable story and spin of Sum of All Fears.

There is audio editing issues where you can tell where they cut. noise in the background, tell the chapter numbers were recorded at a different time. in the later chapters you didn't hear repeat words and mispronounced words and then the proper word right after The audio editing needed more help.

Where is the hero?

This book had no hero. No central character. In fact there was very little character development at all. Wasn't to my taste

If you like Clancy...

If you like Tom Clancy books, you're going to like this one. A little less detailed than a Clancy book but it rivals Clancy in timing, plot and boy the twist near the end I never saw coming.

Disjointed

Too many incidents to keep track of. Too much of a cliff hanger at the end. Writing was very good.
