It’s going to be a summer she’ll never forget.

Claire’s little sister Holly has been working on the millionaire’s playground of Martha’s Vineyard, going to barefoot beach parties and flirting with the local rich kids. But now she’s missing and none of the locals seem to care, including the police. They think a message Claire received is proof she’s safe.

But Claire knows for a fact that her sister didn’t send it.

What will she have to risk to find out the truth? Who are the locals protecting? And what does it have to do with another girl who went missing five years ago?

An unmissable psychological thriller summer listen from the #1 bestselling author, for fans of Heidi Perks, Claire Douglas and Lucy Clarke.

I was hooked on this story shortly into it. Really kept me guessing and I was surprised by the ending and who Holly’s real killer was. But I have to agree with many of the other reviewers on the poor use of American to English language. I lived in the UK for 12 years and I know an American wouldn’t use so many of the terms used here. Carpark for Parking lot, and the one that really made me roll my eyes was when she used the term ‘rip the plaster off’ instead of ‘rip the band-aid off’. This author needs to do her homework or find an editor who can catch these gaffes.

I liked the story and the performance. The writer or editor should know and change some of the terms to American terms when the character is American. For instance, we don’t call a sweater or hoodie a jumper. Also, a car park is called a parking lot. There were a few others
