a little predictable

There were things I predicted throughout the story and some weird oversights that weren't caught in the editing process. How can you leave your phone as collateral then use it to text on. It was maddening how many red flags were dismissed.

I really liked the story. The different chapters with the different points of view and all the different twists you find out in the end

Yes yes

I completely recommend this book. Keep you on your toes. Even though it was a suspense thriller, it was still easy to follow with all the events occurring.

Uncoordinated Suspense

The ideas took too long to come together. Why would someone go into her best friend’s apartment when she was already a suspect? A whole bunch of uncoordinated suspense that was a turn off at Chap 49.

I really enjoyed the style of the narrative

Ok so I was instantly taken in by the writer's sense of humor that came out in the main character's inner dialogue. I expected a bit less enjoyment in reading some other reviews, I was thinking 'lifetime movie plot' was about to happen. I actually didn't think this had that kind of feel to it after diving in, not that it would've been a deal breaker (obvi I went into it under those pretenses), but I likely would have had lots of eye rolling and sighing involved. I listened to this in one sitting and it kept me on the edge of my seat like a thriller ought to!

Like a Lifetime movie

Those cheesy Lifetime movies are a guilty pleasure of mine. This is the book version of one. If you enjoy them, you'll enjoy this

Perfect read

Captivating novel, love the story line and Lucy’s role was excellently played. As a mater of fact all characters were nicely executed. Loved it ❤️😊

Never Saw It Coming

Quick read and did not want to put it down!!! But the ending is by far one of the BEST ever!

Interesting mental health read

Overall, I thought this was a good read! There were some oversights like with some inconsistencies in the storyline/what was happening, overall it was well wrote though. it also had some unique twists. Read it in one day.
