The first semester is over. It's time to return to Silver Sanctuary!

After killing an Obsidian Hulker in the Tower, Sal has been named the top-ranked Savior in his year at Quest Academy. He's been granted a special invitation from the President of the Hunter Bureau to attend an exclusive Gala during the break. It's an opportunity for Sal to meet the greatest Heroes and a number of people he's only ever heard of.

At home, Sal needs to convince his parents that he is ready to start his own Trainee Guild. They've reworked the Argento Auction House to give Sal his own specialist workshop, but insist that he needs to relax and enjoy the break. That becomes impossible when Sal learns that his parents are being cheated by one of the top Guilds.

Determined to stop his family from being pushed around by the Guilds when he goes back to Quest Academy, Sal embarks on his greatest crafting challenge yet. Unlikely alliances will need to be forged. Secrets will be revealed, and unexpected mentors will need convincing to join his cause.

Sal isn't going to be getting much rest...

Narrated in duet style.

The naming of his future gear is getting ridiculous everyone needs a jackal. I can’t even imagine how the story will progress at this point. MC is extremely overpowered.

Mythic

This series is absolutely amazing. Of course there are things I don’t like but it’s minor stuff that actually makes sense for the story. While the MC is a bit OP at this point, he’s also terrified of taking an active role in the war. While it is annoying, it’s also no secret that Sal NEVER planned on being a Hero so it makes sense

I love the plot twists, especially the relationships between characters because they all make sense. Divinity has over relied on her power her entire life due to outside expectations of her so it makes sense for her to have trouble building those bonds for one reason or another. Barry has a really strong ability that inherently gives him trust issues but also gives him that familiar ground with Sal and Divinity. I LOVE that Sal and Fabi were talked up so much only for them to (shocker!) decide to build a legitimate friendship and see where that leads. Even Divinity admitting her vision was only a joke makes sense, because a 19 year old would make a joke with her friends without realizing the joke was missed completely.

Lastly, Sophia is a complete bada** and I absolutely need to see her lose her mind on someone threatening her son.

LOVE THIS BOOK AND CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE 24 HOURS FROM NOW!
