Interesting idea

The book starts out a little slow for me. Maybe that is because we are following so many characters at the beginning. By being paid in a game to essentially be an NPC, we get some good world building. The characters are lacking interesting powers so it doesn’t seem like that fun of a game they have joined. The story was fun but slow. I enjoyed their journey. The MC did a good job.

A great series

I've read thru book 5 on RR and I can say that this series is great. I love what WK has done. I just wish he would focus on this series more.

Great story and unique workarounds

I enjoyed the character development and story. I even like the side characters. I love an actual clean book in this genre. ibread this story on royal road and I was worried about the narrator but was pleasantly surprised by how while the narrator did. great job!

Narrator has suspect choices for accents.

Seriously the southern drawl for the smoke golem Joe is terrible. Over exaggerated and just terrible.

Good time with a few issues

This was a good time and worth the credit I only have a few things to gripe about like how it jumps around way to much I hope the author focuses a bit more in the next book. I also feel this would have been better as a isaki there is no way anyone would play a game designed in the way this one was i mean who the hell would pay to play a realistic game where you haft to still use the bathroom, go to school and study like real life and still feel most of the pain from getting hurt no one no one would pay for that its flawed as a story premise the characters never even log out so why the hell is this not written as an isaki.
