like most litrpg the status reads get kinda boring but the author doesnt do it too much

You should give it a read. The mc’s not an idiot, the card magic system is cool. The progression is fun and rewarding. Definitely worth a credit.

Fun

It’s a fun book but the MC tends to wander between genius and clueless in his introspection. There is also some repeated stat teams that don’t serve a purpose. Still looking forward to book 2 though

The series is definitely worth a credit. From an author I’ve come to respect This audio book is very well written amazing narration. I finished this novel in one day. I can’t wait for book 2.

Started great

This book caught my attention early on, it had a system that kept me interested, and a good plot. It started to go down hill half way through the book, when the MC acted like a mature slum kid(which fit), to act like the most stupid immature kid who didnt think. The inner monolog kept getting longer and longer. overall, this wouldn't be a bad listen if it was in the pre-teen genre. But I probably won't get the next book.
