Amazing story and performance

- fun and unique story, first book doesn't leave loose ends but builds out pathways to more story evolution
- great world building
- magic system is unique and very interesting, spell casting in this story is so far my favorite of any I have read
- MC is not extremely OP and has legit struggles which makes for good development

I enjoyed the first installment in this new series by Plum Parrot, crushed it in a couple of days. Very satisfying story! Robb Moreira continues to be one of my favorite narrators and performers. He truly brings life to all of the characters, it's unbelievable that's it's only a single voice actor. Looking forward to book 2!

Great but not holy crap this is epic

Author goes a little too hard with the descriptions of ordinary stuff to the point it distracts. Also a lot of the characters ask questions they should already have the answer or knowledge of. Likely done for readers but still brought me out of the story. Overall though a fun listen to and the narrator smashes it out of the park.

Originality of the storyline!

The characters were fallible but appealing and the plot moved along nicely! It was a very engaging story and exciting to follow! I can’t wait to get the next book to see what happens!

Really enjoyed this one

Starts a bit slow but the story is really good, especially the last 3rd. Can't wait for book 2.

Good story but voice acting a bit bit annoying

Rob Morea is a good voice actor but every time he spoke I always heard the character voice of Victor from Tucson. I had to remember this was a different series several times and it was annoying Would have been more enjoyable if this series used a new voice actor.
